Tonight’s Call – INSIGHTS ON THE TABERNACLE!
God is moving in Israel and amongst the Jewish community. We always need to pray for the “Peace of Jerusalem”. Have you ever heard the term messianic Jew? They are referred to as Jews for Jesus. Evangelical Protestants who identify as Messianic Jews believe that Jesus (referred to by the Hebrew language name Yeshua among adherents) is a Jewish Messiah prophesied in the Hebrew Bible, and that the Hebrew Bible or Old Testament and the New Testament are the authoritative Scriptures of mankind. Messianism is the belief in the advent of the Messiah who acts as the Savior of a group of people.
It is a movement of Jewish people and kosher hearted Gentiles who believe that you sure is the Messiah of Israel and the Savior of the world. Issuer is the most Jewish of Jews. Issuer was a descendent of both Abraham and King David, was raised in a Jewish home and went to synagogue. He perfectly the entire Torah (Galatians 4:4). He taught that he came to fulfill, not to set aside, the Torah (Matthew 5:17-19). He was a rabbi who performed unparalleled miracles, bringing great blessing to the nation of Israel. All his early disciples also lived a very Jewish life. The messianic movement was entirely Jewish at its inception and continued to exist as an authentic Jewish movement for 700 years after Yeshua’s death and resurrection.
Messianic Jews have not stopped being Jewish. On the contrary, they remain strongly Jewish and their identity and lifestyle! The Tenach which are the Old Testament Scriptures provides the foundation of their Jewish faith. In fact, the Hebrew Scriptures themselves affirm that they are not complete, but that God was going to make a new covenant with the Jewish people (Jeremiah 31:31-34). They believe that the Sinai covenant, upon which much of traditional rabbinic Judaism is based, is a broken covenant. There is no temple and there are no sacrifices by which people can be brought near to God and experience genuine atonement. God’s messianic Judaism is based on this broken covenant, which cannot save us. In contrast Jews for Jesus believe that God already established this new covenant by means of Yeshua’s death and resurrection. He died and rose again to atone for our sins, so that all can enter this new relationship with God. Messianic Jews believe that Yeshua surely ascended to the right hand of God the Father and is coming back to earth to reign from Jerusalem over Israel and all the nations of the world. At that time the fullness of the new covenant will be realized.
In one sense, Messianic Judaism and Christianity are the same thing. There is only one faith. Messianic Jews and Christians share the same core beliefs messianic Judaism is the same faith but is expressed within the Jewish heritage. In closing …the Messianic idea is thus realized in the threefold appellation, Jesus Christ the Lord; the first being his human name among men, the second is historical and official designation, and last is personal divine title as Son of God, King of Kings, and King of Zion.

Have you ever found yourself placing your hope in something other than God? Most of us have said, once I get that promotion, everything will be okay, or if I could just get healthy, that would fix everything, or when we move, then I’ll be happy. Like us, the ancient Israelites tended to place their hope in all sorts of things: their kings, their neighbor’s false gods, and peace treaties with other nations. But none of those things can satisfy them any more than a new job or a move can solve all our problems. Time and time again, God urges His people– through patriarchs, judges, and profits– to hope in Him. He’s the only One who will never fail us though at times His actions might surprise and even disappoint us.
By any measure, the Jewish people have had a turbulent history. Enemies have displaced them and even tried to wipe them from the face of the earth. But God has never forgotten them. He is, as Jeremiah declared, Miqweh Yisrael: the hope of Israel. This has been true in the past, and it’s true today. What’s more, is a covenant that will be forever true. What about those of us who are not Abraham’s natural descendants but are His children by faith (Romans 9-11)? The hope of Israel is our only real hope to.
So, what does it mean, practically speaking, to hope in God? We use the word hope a lot of times when we really mean wish. Biblical hope is more than crossing our fingers while we rub our lucky rabbit’s foot. Biblical hope is a confident expectation. To hope in the God of hope is to look your problem straight in the eyes, acknowledge them, and then place your confidence in God’s sure promises and certain character. It is often tempting to set our hopes on earthly things: a financial portfolio, a certain political party or leader, a good career, a clean bill of health. But it’s important to remember that all these things are shaky, uncertain, and fleeting. Only God is worthy of our hope. You can count on God because He always makes good on His promises.
QUESTION: What are the things other than God you routinely look to for security and salvation?
“Lord you are the hope of Israel; all who forsake you will be put to shame. Those who turn away from you will be written in the dust because they have forsaken the Lord, the spring of living water.” (Jeremiah 17:13)

The second Thursday of each month we would be praying inside the state capitol building in Lansing. The Michigan House of Prayer will be leading in room 426. The meeting is from 12 Noon-2 PM. We will be setting up at 11:30 AM. We will be praying for righteousness to return to our state. Praying for any sick legislators, staff members, or personnel will also be part of our efforts. Of course, any crisis situations that will have risen on a state or national level will be covered. We will be praying over legislators to make wise and godly decisions. Praise and worship will be part of the format of our gatherings. We all know that God inhabits our praises! This is a sacrifice of our time and resources, but Michigan hangs in the balance! We believe for signs, miracles, and wonders to break out. This type of outbreak will get our legislators attention in the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ will go forth.
| MICHIGAN: THE VOICE…MARCH 10, 2023 @ 7PM..FREE REGIONAL GATHERING! In 2004, Chuck Pierce and Dutch Sheets came to Michigan and released the word that Michigan is The Voice to the nation. What does that mean? It means that we are forerunners. John the Baptist was the VOICE! We are a corporate John the Baptist who must cry in the middle of the wilderness, prepare the Way of the Lord. It means that we must speak out and model to the nation what God is about to do. We have entered a now time. Prepare the Way! We are entering the time of greatest revival and awakening man has experienced. The winds have started to blow over Michigan and they are about to hit hurricane force. Several prophets have recently released words that this is Detroit and Michigan’s time. Gina Gholston released a powerful prophetic word over Michigan in October 2022. Many people thought it was related to the election. However, it’s a much bigger word than that. I believe that we have entered our kairos opportune moment where we must activate the words. Two weeks ago, we counseled together over Michigan, and both agreed that we must now begin to stir up the prophetic words over Michigan, call them into being. In other words, we must gather the state and corporately release our voice, stirring up what God is saying. We set March 10th, 7 PM as the night we would gather. I started calling leaders in different areas of the state, including the Upper Peninsula. In two days at least 10 agreed to come and speak in Michigan. I knew there must be a cross-section of Michigan leaders including Black, White, Hispanic, First Nations, City, Rural, Male, Female and Multi-generational. All of them are leaders of churches or hubs, big churches, small churches. Some of those who have said I’m coming are: Apostles/Prophets Renee Growchowski, Jonathan Russo, Ed Watts, Keith Hudson, Joe Wenturine, Victor Torres, Asia Mchaney, Matt Jones, Bishop Andrew Merritt—father to Detroit, and several more. Chuck Pierce will be releasing a word to Michigan via video. Ed Watts and I are hosting this one night gathering in Ann Arbor, MI, March 10th, 2023, at Shekinah Christian Church, 4600 Scio Church Rd, 48103. Join us to corporately worship and release the Voice.
