Tonight’s Call – THE ST LOUIS PRAYER INITIATIVE!
The Lord uses “no name” people. The Lord frequently chooses lowly things of this world and despised things to bring forth his Kingdom purposes. The reason is so nobody can boast before Him. Our weaknesses give us a ministry. God doesn’t want to only use only your strengths and ministry assignments. He also wants to use your weaknesses, God comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. God repeatedly makes the wisdom of this world look foolish. So, He uses foolish preaching of the gospel to save those who believe. God is committed to revealing as foolishness what those opposed to Him see as wisdom.
God’s grace is sufficient and if we humble ourselves and have faith in Him, then He will make the weak strong. God’s Word teaches us to delight in weaknesses, insults, in hardships, in persecutions, and in difficulties. These are the very situations where God appears in our lives to make us strong and over comers. For Christ’s power to work in us we must be in submission to Him, in those times we are weak. When we are we, we are allowing ourselves to humbly depend on a God who can align our will to His. It is an opportunity for us to participate in the Divine plans God has for the world. He has chosen each one of us for the season of time that we are presently in. Never underestimate the power and authority you have in Christ Jesus.
Our weaknesses prevent arrogance and pride. When we realize we’re not perfect and that we don’t have it all together, it sets the stage for us becoming a much humbler person. And being humble makes you more like Christ Jesus. Paul had a thorn in the flesh and the Lord used them in their weakness. If we have the weaknesses, we will think we would not need God. Thinking you’re self-sufficient is really no way to live. We will soon find out as we live out our lives there are challenges where we must make an appeal to Heaven. We serve a God who weaves even the bad stuff in our lives and makes them good. As we live out this process, we are more able to help somebody else who is going through difficulties.
As we move forward in prayer assignments to be part in advancing God’s Kingdom purposes He uses “no name” people. So again, never underestimate who you are in Him. This is our time as we see the shifting of history. Multitudes in heaven are cheering us on! Stay the course and hold the line!
“But God has chosen the foolish things of the world, to confound the wise. And God has chosen the weak things of the world, to confound things which are strong.” (1 Corinthians 1:27)

Do you feel it? Have you ever had a feeling that history is at a crossroads? We are experiencing a present day shaking in the world. There is something that is crying out in many saying what can we do? How can we bring Godly change? People are being stirred across America hearing these same questions. Amidst the adversity and pessimism there is a radical remnant that is being called. A remnant principle is at work. I am being awakened to the fact that God wants to use me. He is calling out modern day circuit riders sounding the alarm saying all is not lost. You are a circuit rider! We can turn America around and be a righteous nation. This is no time to be apathetic or slumber. A “Great Awakening” is upon us!
Point to Ponder: “When we calmly reflect upon the fact that the progress of our Lord’s Kingdom is dependent upon prayer, it is sad to think that we give so little time to the holy exercise. Everything depends upon prayer, and yet we neglect it not only to our own spiritual hurt, but also to the delay and injury of our Lord’s cause upon earth. The forces of good and evil are contending for the world. Had there been importunate, universal, and continuous prayer by God’s people, long ere this, the earth had been possessed for Christ.” – E.M. Bounds.
A question we need to ask is what moves the hand of God? Of course, we can say faith, repentance, compassion, integrity, humility, and purity. A key quality God looks for is “desire” as you read Mark 11:24. What do you want so badly that you can’t live without it? What is that deep craving within you that develops into a passionate pursuit? A sleeping church is awakening as the importance of prayer is coming to the forefront. Individuals are being prompted by the Holy Spirit to pro-actively engage the culture. There is excitement in the air. Vision and purpose is being released. God is handing out assignments to each of us and people are listening to that still small voice that is thundering across our land. The pieces of a puzzle are on the table and falling into place.
We are the pieces of God’s plan so allow Him to position us. Let him connect the dots and network His people. The body of Christ is coming together as one and God’s house will be a united house of prayer. This revelation from the throne of God is being discovered again. The Lamb who became the Lion is on the move. The Matthew 6:6 prayer closet is being pursued by those who are yearning for more of God. It is only prayer that will build relationship and release the favor of God.

The political, economic, geophysical, social, church, family and educational realms are facing challenges that will shake every foundation on which we rested them. The earth is shaking and groaning. Economic unrest, wars, violence, pandemics, and the threats of terrorism are increasing. There is only one foundation to build on that will survive the shakings in these coming years and that is Jesus Christ. The voice of the Lord is shaking the wilderness (Psalm 29:8). We have entered a perfect storm where simultaneous challenges in the world are coming together as one. God is moving and attempting to wake up the church. For those who walk by faith it is the best of times and for those without it will be the worst of times.
You are an awakened one who walks by faith. The praying radical remnant is alive and well. So, what is the hope? What must the church do? Is this nation able to turn back to God in such a way where another “Great Awakening” can occur in America? Do we have a choice in the late hour we are facing? These questions can all be answered as God prefers mercy over judgment (Psalm 103:8).
