Tonight’s Call – UNDERSTANDING THE PROPHETIC!
The mission of the prophetic gifts is to work out and apply the Word of God to the world around us, exalting Christ’s righteousness. It centers around God’s Divine revelation to humanity and then becomes expressed through people who take up the message of God’s truth and speaking truth into new contexts. God wants His people to flourish and to experience peace and joy in the community of love. But sin destroys a community. So, God sends his prophets to warn his people, so the turn from sin and its destruction. So, a prophet or prophetess is an individual who is regarded as being in contact with God and is said to speak on behalf of our God. This individual serves as an intermediary with humanity by delivering messages or teachings from the supernatural source to other people.
Is it possible for each of us to walk in a prophetic anointing? It requires us to live a life of consecration, prayer and fasting, so we can maintain the presence of God in our lives. Failure to do this will result in us not being able to accomplish the purpose for which we are created. If it is too easy is not worth doing. It begins with asking the Lord to use you in this gift so you can impact the sphere of influence that God has given you.
People have always wanted to know the future, and they will often seek about every source except the Bible. Large circulation newspapers often publish a Horoscope. The ideas that your birthdate somehow determines your characteristics and prophetic events at certain times of the year, and this is determined by the position of constellations in the heavens. Others pay mediums to read a crystal ball, and sometimes try to communicate with the dead. Others read tarot cards for prophetic interpretations. Millions of people look to séances, channeling, and astrology for power and insight. They dabble in the occult and seek answers from soothsayers and mystics. They even fellowship with witches, mediums, and sorcerers. Will all these reveal God’s will for you? Of course not! It is only Bible prophecy that reveals the sequence of events in the end time in the dangerous times ahead. The prophetic voice reveals vital truths about the future of the world and even personal destinies.
We are living in the prophetic period of time that your Bible identifies as the end time. When you come to understand the prophecies in the Bible, you will see that these are exciting times, leading up to the return of Jesus Christ as King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, and the establishment of His Kingdom on the earth! In understanding the prophetic we must trust Scripture to interpret Scripture. There must be an understanding as well…of prophetic time gaps. God’s prophetic framework also enables us to search out modern nations in Scripture. We must learn the purpose of Bible prophecy. We must not allow wild ideas in misinterpretations of the prophetic word given. It is not to open up the future to idle curiosity, but for the higher purpose of furnishing light to those whose faith needs confirming. We are living in exciting times for God is really much to his prophets!

Transformation Michigan and MICHOP are moving forward and are as strong as ever. We lost our building in Lansing as the owner would not renew our lease. We are planning to purchase our own building free from landlord parameters as to what we can say or do. MICHOP will continue meeting in the State Capitol Building with prayer and organize action events to advance the Kingdom of God.
We are pleased to see new ministries rise up in prayer as they advance the Kingdom of God in Jesus name. With that said, we are not linked, and our ministry names are not to be used to procure or raise funds for Michigan Pray or Michigan For Jesus. Several supporters of our ministry have told us that these new ministries are using our ministry names and the events we sponsor, to promote and obtain a financial support base for Michigan Pray and Michigan for Jesus.
EXAMPLE: We support Elijah Streams and Dutch Sheets (Give Him 15). We DO NOT use their ministry names to raise funds for Transformation Michigan or Michigan Capitol House of Prayer. We personally financially support these ministries each year!
