Tonight’s Call – STAYING ABOVE THE FRAY!
We must not run from the crisis in America. Pastors have the responsibility to make a stand. Anytime a nation has lost it’s freedom it never recovers it. We have become a culture in chaos. A Biblical response is mandatory. The Word has authority, and we carry it. We must have a Biblical response to the madness in the culture. A pastor in Northern Virginia rose up and addressed the issue head on. Share this link with your pastor, elders, deacons, and your sphere of influence:
We must feel outraged but direct our feelings toward SATAN who has deceived the whole world. We must be conveyors of the truth to those who have lost their way. We must hold the line on truth and be prepared to give an answer. We carry the solutions to free those enslaved. We must look at the misguided and lost of the world realizing eternity hangs in the balance for them. We each hold the key that unlocks heaven’s door. I must admit when I see a confused transgender or one who was a vocal staunch LBGTQ advocate it hits a nerve center within me. I must check myself on how to act. We are dealing with souls who are lost for eternity. The Word is very clear regarding our responsibility with the truth we carry.
“I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom. Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all long-suffering and teaching.” (2 Timothy 4:1-2)
This word is very direct, but the Holy Spirit must guide us to deliver it with mercy, love, and compassion. We are in a day now for each of us will be presented with multiple opportunities to engage those who have been taken in by Satan’s devices. We must not shirk our responsibility. Will there be a price to pay? Yes…in some situations. Contending for the faith is difficult for some. Faith in Christ has been entrusted to God’s holy people. All believers, not just Christian leaders, are called to defend the truth of Jesus Christ.
“But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. These are [i]sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.And on some have compassion, [j]making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.” (Jude 1: 17-23)
We must never be ashamed of the gospel and the message it carries (Romans 1:16). The church is being challenged. Who will rise! When a nation rejects the truth in the Word of God it releases the demonic. This scripture below says it all!
“For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.Therefore, God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.Likewise, also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, un-discerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.” (Romans 1: 20-32)

A CHALLENGE TO PASTORS/MINISTRY LEADERS TO RISE UP…AND DEFEND THE WORD OF GOD:
I am making this appeal to every pastor, ministry leader, those who lead a group Bible study, teach a Sunday school class, or any type of church gathering. How much do you love your children and grandchildren? This is the very issue that is at stake below. Are you responsible to defend our young people? Will you stand before the Lord someday and give an account for what you did with your time, talents, resources, messages from your pulpit? Are you shrinking away from speaking the truth because you call it political? Are you fearful of losing people in your congregation on speaking the truth about transgenderism, the LGBTQ agenda, and the moral perversion that is manifesting in our culture? Are you shying away from speaking the truth because of loss of finances or persecution from those who disagree with you?
We in Michigan could be facing a tipping point moment where a direct attack on religious freedom, the truth in the Word of God, and free speech is directly manifesting at this time. There are two bills being considered at this time by our Democratic led legislature in Michigan to make it a felony and call it hate speech to speak the truth on “WOKENESS, TRANSGENDERISM AND THE LGBTQ” movement. The two proposed bills in the Michigan House would charge Michiganders as criminals in the name of “hate speech” if we should come against “woke” ideology. Again, the 2 bills would come against our first amendment rights of religion and free speech. The two proposed bills are house bills 4474 and 4475.
They are being discussed in the Michigan House Criminal Justice Committee this week and if voted out of committee could be put on the House floor for a vote possibly this coming week! These 2 proposed bills would cause the state of Michigan to “catch up” with Canada’s totalitarianism and present attack on Christians! Since the Democrats are in the majority in our Michigan legislature at this time the bills could very well pass. We are not only targeting DEMS but also Republican leaders who are compromised.
What will you do if this passes in the Michigan legislature? Remember Dietrich Bonhoeffer in Nazi Germany where he said – “Silence in the face of evil is evil itself”. Yes, he paid a price but in heaven he is in God’s Hall of Fame. A test is forthcoming where you will be challenged to either stand for the truth or shrink or hide because of fear. Will you rise?
