Tonight’s Call – REPUBLICAN FEDERATION OF WOMEN!
There are so many “Battlefronts” that we are being called to engage in. Every one of us must identify that front which should be a main focus according to the gifts the Holy Spirit has imparted to us.
BATTLEFRONT – A region or line where opposing armies engage in combat.
These past few days the nation of Israel has come upon the scene as we must pray for the peace of Jerusalem…another battlefront. It seems the season of time we are in brings new events as we look at international, national, state, and personal challenges. Being battle ready is the assignment we all carry.
“Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.” (2 Timothy 4:2)
As we look at the worldwide spiritual war, we are presently engaged in we must be part in praying for the larger picture. But we must attend to and specifically take on particular assignments the Holy Spirit has given us. Think of the expanse of an ocean then a lake. Then picture a pond; an aquarium; and a fishbowl. Each of us has personal fishbowl assignments. So many are facing personal challenges that need our prayer and action. Do not be deterred from other larger tasks God is calling you to address though. We must pick and choose, but trust God who is orchestrating the larger picture. We must be willing to step into other areas of the battle as smaller parts. We are God’s puzzle pieces where when fitly framed together all will be accomplished.
“But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.” (Ephesians 4:15-16)
What battlefront are you being called to? May we all be faithful to what we are called to. Stay in the lane that matches your calling and purpose…and do not be fearful of “lengthening your tent pegs”. Some will be taken on or given unexpected new assignments. We must occupy the land and be on the offensive. Keep your sights on the prize…the great harvest of souls that is upon us. We must never lose sight that it is an honor to be part of shaping world history.
Stay the course and hold the line!!!
“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16)
