Tonight’s Call – THE BIBLE IS TRUE PT 3 – MARXISM OUR ENEMY!
Are we seeing a Divine setup for this younger generation where light is clashing with darkness – YES! Our nation is seeing its foundations being shaken, which I believe is putting a squeeze on the minds of our younger generation. Yes, they may not understand the totality of what is taking place, but the Holy Spirit is pressing on their souls and spirits. The perfect storm is upon us and all will be impacted. We are seeing and feeling the pressure, but we must look at this as opportunities to share the Gospel with our sphere of influence.
We have had Campus Evangelist Cindy Smock on our call a number of times. A seasonal shift has taken place where her notoriety is bringing many to hear the Gospel preached in a very unconventional manner. A “brain drain” has taken place over many generations where Christianity has been assaulted. The idea that the Bible is not true and has many contradictions has been spread purposely through the educational establishment. Our younger generation has been given a moral lobotomy…where what once was considered evil is now good (Isaiah 5:20). It will take pastors, Christian leaders, intercessors to pray, members of the body of Christ to run into the battle at all cost. Our nation and young people are at stake as they will be moving into the 7 Cultural gateways of society…Education; Government; media/communications; arts/entertainment; business, family; and religion.
Cindy Smock is in part up against a Marxist ideology which has impregnated our educational system. We must run into the fire contending for the faith (Jude 3). WHY – The next generation are the most important and most affected stakeholders when talking about our global future.

WHAT IS MARXISM AND ITS TWO FOLD ASSAULT?
Marxism is, at heart, an atheistic philosophy with no room for belief in God. Karl Marx, the founder of Marxism viewed religion as the “opium of the people.” He admitted, “My object in life is to dethrone God and destroy capitalism.” And he added, “The first requisite for the happiness of the people is the abolition of religion.” It is a historical fact that wherever Marxists seized power, Christians were always persecuted, and atheism was enforced. The Marxist redefines good and evil. So, sin is changed from rebellion against God into striving for individual ends. Utopia represents Heaven, ultimately created on Earth – by man. The collectivist state becomes god. And the institution of private property rights becomes the original sin.
But the Scriptures clearly oppose the Marxist atheistic beliefs. It teaches of a One God that redeemed men from sin by offering His only Son to carry the penalty of their sins (John 3:16). And it teaches that redistributing private property for political purposes is immoral for it undermines accountability and individual freedom that were given by the Creator to His children. Marxism has never worked in real life. Thus, the answer for world problems is simply God’s plans and not man’s plans. Atheism, power, control, and laziness have experimentally failed in history to mend the human race’s problems.
Another basic tenet of Marxism is that the idea of private property must be abolished. This is being taught by many college professors. Where Marxism has taken root, landowners see their property confiscated by the state, and private ownership of just about anything is outlawed. In abolishing private property, Marxism directly contradicts several biblical principles. The Bible assumes the existence of private property and issues commands to respect it: injunctions such as “You shall not steal” (Deuteronomy 5:19) are meaningless without private property. The Bible honors work and teaches that individuals are responsible to support themselves: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat” (2 Thessalonians 3:10). The redistribution of wealth mandated by Marxism destroys accountability and the biblical work ethic. Jesus’ parable in (Matthew 25: 14-30) clearly teaches our responsibility to serve God with our (private) resources. There is no way to reconcile Marxism with the parable of the talents. Marxism is ultimately about material things; Christianity is ultimately about spiritual things.
Some people attempt to combine Christianity with Marxist philosophy. Their attempts may be well-meaning, but they are impractical. The Puritans in the New World tried communal living for a while. When the Plymouth Colony was founded, there was no private property, and all food was distributed equally amongst all, regardless of one’s job (or work ethic). But that system, lacking any incentive to work hard, was soon abandoned as a complete failure. See “Of Plymouth Plantation” by Plymouth Colony Governor William Bradford for the full story.
Attempting to combine Christianity with Marxism also ignores their widely divergent views on sin, God, equality, responsibility, and the value of human life. Of course, some people point to (Acts 2: 44-45) as proof that Christianity is compatible with communism: “All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.” Two things must be said here: first, this passage, as with much of Acts, is descriptive, not prescriptive; that is, this passage contains no command for the church to function this way; it is simply a description of what the early church in Jerusalem did to meet some unique and urgent needs. There is no indication that such extensive sharing was ever copied by other New Testament churches. Second, the communal arrangements in Acts were completely voluntary and motivated by the love of Christ. Any attempt to apply this to involuntary, secular (godless) communism really makes no sense.
In short, the Bible promotes freedom and personal responsibility, and neither of those concepts lasts long under Marxism. There’s a reason why, in Marxist states such as Communist China and Vietnam and the old Soviet Union, Christians are always persecuted—the ideas espoused by Marxism are antithetical to the teachings of Jesus Christ. The differences are irreconcilable. Our universities have promulgated these concepts above which has led our nation to step over the cliff of destruction.
WE MUST TRAIN, EQUIP, AND TEACH THAT THE BIBLE IS TRUE AND THE UNADULTERATED WORD OF GOD!
10/3/23 – REPORT FROM CINDY SMOCK- OUR EYES CAPTIVATED MY HEART! INDIANA UNIVERSITY
The eyes are truly the window of the soul! As Jesus said, “The eye is the lamp of the body; so then if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!” Mt. 6:22-23
1. God the Holy Ghost was present, and I could see the receptiveness to the Gospel as I ministered truth!
2. Four students and 2 reporters were waiting when I arrived. The reporter had read Bro. Jed’s book and even had parts of it memorized. It was the best interview ever.
3. Soon a crowd of 200 had gathered. They were seated and attentive and full of questions!
4. Four students came forward to pray for redemption at the close of the day!
10/4/23 REPORT FROM CINDY SMOCK – HAPPY MOB! UNHAPPY PHARISEES, IUPUI, Indianapolis
1. Sisters Kathy and Tabitha and I arrived a few minutes past noon to be greeted by a happy mob of hundreds! Thank you for the warm welcome! Special thanks to the two sweeties who linked arms with me and walked me safely to my preaching destination.
2. The first hour was a little crazy with me satirically calling the students out for their ho no mo ways. Many students cheered and flaunted their hoeness and I rebuked and shamed.
3. Well-meaning Christians including a Lutheran minister started interrupting and insisting that I share the “Gospel.” Some people always get in the rush the climax! Finally, I let one Christian girl take over the mic and she showed me how it was done. The utter ignorance, lack of discernment and supreme arrogance of some representing evangelical Christianity even astounds me sometimes. Do they have the Holy Spirit, what Bible are they reading, what faith have they been taught? God help us!
4. The other opposition I had was led by an individual who was Sis. Kathy pointed out it looked like a woman at the top but a man at the bottom. The individual kept playing loud perverted music which the students did not appreciate and booed. Some Satanists joined the distracter, and it looked like a fight might break out between the Satanists and those who wanted to hear me!
5. Things calmed, and I told my testimony as well as Brother Jed’s, clearly presenting the Gospel of the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus and the need for a true change of heart and faith in Jesus! Students hung on every word!
6. When I asked students, “Who would like to start all over,” dozens raised their hands. We held hands and I led them in a prayer!
7. Sister Kathy followed with her testimony and then one more girl repented and committed to following Jesus!
8. Where were the Christians who should have been working the crowds, making connections, and inviting people to church and Bible study? Shame on the Christian community at IUPUI. You were too busy hating me and my “vulgar” methods to love those in need!
9. Shame on you Christians for disrespecting a 65-year-old widow who has preached the Gospel on campus for 45 years. To you I say: “From henceforth let no man trouble me, for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.” Gal. 6:17.
