Tonight’s Call – Gay Movement, Abortion, Our Idolatry, Arborist of Heaven
I want to reiterate what you all know. The battle of light and darkness is at a very high crescendo. It will take those with courage to continue to run into the battle. Our voices must be heard regarding life in the womb and defending traditional marriage. We must make stands against all forms of sexual perversion. As we do this there must be a realization that fiery darts of the devil will be shot at us. He will discover and aim at any Achilles heel in our lives and go after it with those fiery darts. Raise up your shield of faith.
We must rest on the assurance of the Word of God, His promises, and prophetic words spoken to lean on in these troubled times. A war in the nation has been taken to each state on the shedding of innocent blood, transgenderism, gay marriage. What is the standard?
“These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood,A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil,A false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren.” Proverbs 6: 16-19)
“And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, let not man separate.” (Matthew 19: 4-6)
“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor) sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.” (1 Corinthians 6: 910)
We must never shrink back from the standard and resort to any compromise. May our words always match the standard to those who have negated the Word of God. The Bible is true!
CONSIDER THIS PRAYER: Dear Lord, take our hand and lead us away from a sense of feeling helpless. Plant in our minds the seeds of encouragement, purpose and initiative. Surround us with others of like mind that we may build up one another as Your word tells us (Thessalonians 5:11).
Prompt us to be strong and courageous and keep our eyes on You as we labor in the vineyards this side of heaven. Show us how to be happy warriors standing for You in this challenging culture.
