BREAKTHROUGH: The word started out with a military meaning of literally “breaking through a barrier” in 1918. By the 1930s, it came to have the second meaning of “abrupt solution.” It is an event that helps to improve a situation or provide an answer to a problem. It is an act or instance of moving through or beyond an obstacle. It can be a breakthrough in the talks between the region’s leaders. breakthrough agreements; an instance of passing through a barrier or protection.
Understanding the Biblical meaning of breakthrough provides insight into its significance in our spiritual journey. In essence, a breakthrough in the Bible refers to a profound shift or advancement, often in the context of overcoming obstacles, achieving victory, or experiencing God’s transformative power in our lives. The Inauguration and swearing in of President Trump opened the doors for a “GreatAwakening” in America. It is up to the church to finish the job.
“I will go before you and will level the mountains ; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. 3 I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name.” (Isaiah 45:2)
The Hebrew word for “breakthrough” is pereṣ and it means “a gap, a break. It refers to a rupture, a tear, a breaking up or shattering of something: a breach created in a wall of an enemy (2 Sam. 5:20); the breaking or rupture occurring in the process of childbirth (Gen. 38:29).” Our GOD is the God of breakthrough!
NOTE: Breakthrough is not the end of a situation but a beginning! An example is WW2 where D DAY was an incredible day of breakthrough. It positioned the Allied troops to go through cities, nations and evils of the earth. The goal was not only to take the beaches but breakthrough. This brought a time of restoration, freedom and victory. On January 20th we hit the beach and took it! We must now advance as the spiritual Ecclesia through prayer and fasting. We must be relentless knowing here will be casualties. We still are in a time of war! Faith with our decrees and declarations will advance our mission quickly.
KING DAVID BREAKTHROUGH – What does the name Baal-perazim mean? Well, the word Baal just means “Lord,” and the word perazim means “breach” or “breakthrough.” So Baal-perazim means “Lord of the Breakthrough.” That is exactly why David named the place where God broke through his enemies “Baal-perazim.” God is a God of breakthroughs.
“So they came up to Baal-perazim; and David smote them there. Then David said, God hath broken in upon mine enemies by mine hand like the breaking forth of waters: therefore he called the name of that place Baal-perazim.” (1 Chroncles 14:11)
GOLDEN AGE OF AWAKENING AND REVIVAL
A golden age is characterized by peace, healing, stability, prosperity and unity. May we not forget the whole world was shaped by His word (Hebrews 11:3). The Bible tells us that the word is living, powerful, and active! When we pray God’s word over our situation, it ushers in the breakthrough we’ve been waiting for. God’s word will never fail; it always completes the assignment. A spiritual breakthrough is upon us in our nation. A profound and transformative experience where individuals, our nation are gaining new insights, clarity, or a heightened sense of connection with the Divine – our Savior Jesus Christ. This will lead to a significant shift in our nation’s faith and spiritual practices…a breakthrough.
Breakthrough is most simply described as Heaven manifested on earth. It is a byproduct of being in the presence of God as well as the authority given to us through the Cross. Breakthrough brings the shifting of mountains that the world cannot accomplish by itself. . Our role is to have faith, stay patient, and keep seeking Him, knowing that He will come through for us.

- Room 426 Prayer and Worship will be moving to a new location on the last Thursday of the month. The 4th floor is being renovated.
- In the meantime the 426 group will be having a prayer and lunch gathering to celebrate on Thursday, January 30, to celebrate what the Lord has done. This will be held in the Freedom Embassy on the 6th floor in The Louie building that is at the southeast corner of Allegan and Capitol kiddy corner across from the Capitol from 10:00 to 1:00. FROG IN A BLENDER
FOSSIL RECORD – We are repeatedly told that dinosaurs died out around 60 million years ago. Yet there have been many reports of dinosaur bones which have been dated quite young. Carbon-14 (14C) analysis of dinosaur bones reveals that they can contain measurable amounts of 14C. This is impossible if the bones are over 60 million years old but makes perfect sense from a biblical perspective. The 14C concentration for organisms alive before Noah’s Flood would have been greatly reduced compared to modern levels, but 14C should still be present in small amounts.
This is exactly what we find and does not indicate a great age but a recent burial by a worldwide flood. According to the March 1992 ABR Newsletter, Hugh Miller of Columbus, Ohio had four dinosaur bone samples carbon dated at a university laboratory. Each of the bones were “dated” at an age of under 20,000 years. These bones were not identified as dinosaur bones because the labs would not agree to test bones which their evolutionary presumptions tell them could not contain any 14C. Yet the same level of 14C found in the bones of a more “recent” creature would be assumed to be correct. In an even more amazing discovery, both DNA fragments and unfossilized red blood cells have been found within dinosaur bones.
Neither of these fragile organic molecules could exist after millions of years. Yet it is quite reasonable to expect to find such fragments to remain if they were buried during Noah’s Flood–less than 5,000 years ago. Recent dates on dinosaur bones should be no surprise to Christians. In Genesis 1:21 God says he created “great whales” (KJV). Elsewhere this Hebrew word, tannin, is translated “dragon.” Job chapters 40 and 41 describe powerful creatures which could only be dinosaurs.
