God uses prophets as a radar screen before our eyes. Our calls have always been designed to inform, educate, realize the different gifts in the body of Christ, open up the realm of the prophetic, encourage people to action, and most importantly to PRAY! Tonight’s call will bring all of the points above into perspective. I have specifically chosen several audio clips that require immediate prayer. The gift of prophecy is given to inform and at times to warn the church. If we are ever given a weather warning, are we not alerted to the possible danger and take required action? Of course!
Radar is used to detect incoming and outgoing activity. The body of Christ has been given specific internal gifts that can be equated to radar. Take discernment for example. What about hearing the voice of the Lord? What about our conscience? What about the promptings of the Holy Spirit? God has given us all of these so our steps can be ordered and directed by HIM. The office of the PROPHET is the highest form of RADAR given to us by God.
“Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge. But if anything is revealed to another who sits by, let the first keep silent. For you can all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be encouraged. And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.” (1 Corinthians 14: 29-33)
