THE COMFORT OF BONDAGE

This is a strange topic to discuss. Can people get comfortable in bondage? It is said when Moses led the people out of bondage to escape Egypt only 1 out of 5 left according to some Hebrew scholars. Why didn’t the rest leave? Fear was a predominating factor as well as a lack of trust in of Moses even though God performed many signs before Pharaoh. People can be easily conditioned to a set of circumstances. Lack of communication of the truth and the stifling of it helps forge the chains of bondage. Before the Revolutionary war and during it a remnant rose up against the bondage of slavery. So today, a remnant has risen that will bring freedom back to our nation who carries a voice of truth.

BONDAGE: a state of being bound usually by compulsion by laws or mastery; literally a slave.

Why are so many people willing to get vaccines? It is mainly because of the “FEAR” they live in! Fake news has communicated redundantly how you cannot survive without them; Covid 19 is deadly; they are safe, and they will become mandatory for the greater good. Many times, when you bring up the danger of vaccines some do not want to believe it and can violently protest. Why? It is because their “FEAR” will return. This results from a communication of lies where if you keep telling people the same thing repeatedly, they begin to believe it.

Truth will set people free, and we must be bearers of the truth in this tipping point season of time we are in. We carry the torch of hope in the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. We will carry the truth as laborers going into the harvest to set people free from bondage and slavery. A Great Awakening is underway as the Holy Spirit is preparing the heart of the people for such a time as this.

“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.” (John 16:13}
