War has been declared on America. Truth will set people free, and we must be bearers of the truth in this tipping point season of time we are in. We have been given a tremendous responsibility to stand against “TYRANNY”. The world’s puppet masters of tyranny are being exposed so seek the Lord and ask what I can do. A diabolical attack is very evident, and we must fight back using God given spiritual weapons. 

TYRANNY: cruel and oppressive government or rule; cruel, unreasonable, or arbitrary use of power or control.

When the governing authorities exceed the limits of their authority, that’s when they become tyrants. Consider, for example, the Hebrew midwives in Exodus 1.  They were commanded to murder the sons of Hebrew women upon birth.  Does God condone such a thing?  Of course not.  And so the Pharaoh who commanded this was outside of his lane; he was ruling in a way that exceeded the authority given him by God.  And what did the Hebrew midwives therefore do?  They defied the order.  Exodus 1:17 says, “But the midwives feared God, and did not do as the king of Egypt had commanded them, but let the boys live.” The fact that God approved of this is reflected in what we see then in verse 20, which says, “So God was good to the midwives, and the people multiplied, and became very mighty.” 

What about Rahab, the harlot who saved the lives of the Hebrew spies?  She’s even found in the 11th chapter of Hebrews as an example of a faithful servant.  She defied her own king to save lives and would have been considered a traitor by her people.  And yet God commends her for her faith and work.

The three main ways that the Constitution protects against tyranny are Federalism, Separation of Powers, and Checks and Balances. The Checks and Balances is included in the Constitution to protect the United States from tyranny. Are these 3 ways under severe abuse today? YES! Never forget only righteousness will exalt a nation (Proverbs 14:34). So, what is our responsibility when those in power fail us? Prayer and God given action steps will defeat our enemies of freedom. The hand of God will move with us if we carry out our calling to impact the sphere of influence we have been given. Never underestimate yourself! Even if you have reached one person with the truth that one individual could create a domino effect that could win multitudes. It is time to cry out…use me Lord!
