TONIGHT’S CALL – MARK GURLEY…MORE ON THE PROPHETIC!

We are undergoing the birth of a new era! What we knew as a safety net. peaceful times, and stability have changed forever. How do you find your way in times like these? What is needed to make the right decisions? We all need a spiritual moral compass that has been tried and tested throughout history. What is that compass? It is the true prophetic voice that is guided by the Holy Spirit of God. Of course, each hearing from the Lord cannot be secondary as a “New Wine” skin of the church is being birthed today. God is rebuilding his church through great shaking’s that are taking place in our personal lives, the state we reside in, our nation and the world. God is dislodging evil at all levels.

God uses the prophets to give us a path to walk on. A prophet is one who utters divinely inspired revelations. He is to teach and lead others by calling upon them to follow the message brought by the apostle who came before him. The 5-Fold ministry is alive, well and working today to a very high degree.

A true prophet is always chosen by God and called through proper priesthood authority. Are there false prophets…YES! We must have personal spiritual discernment as there are many voices that are speaking. But we must not be fearful of this Divine gift handed down from God to give guidance in perilous times. We must listen to and discern the voice of the modern-day prophets. We must remember as well; we live in a fast-food mentality or an expectation of an easy fix. The prophetic does not operate in this fashion. When you study the prophets of the Bible, words spoken took place weeks, years, decades, and hundreds of years before fulfillment. May this is not a guide to throw the modern day prophetic voices out the window. May we see and hear as the Lord!

“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;” (Ephesians 4: 11-13)

“Surely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.” (Amos 3:7)

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.” (Matthew 7:15)

“For prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.” (2 Peter 1:21)
