TONIGHT’S CALL – MARK GURLEY…4 ASPECTS OF 2 CHRONICLES 7:14!

We must always remember to get back to basics as there are so many rabbit trails to walk on to keep us from achieving the victory we desire. The Word of God must be our teacher as we move forward together “AS ONE” in these trying times. Do not look at the many dire circumstances that are before us and allow them to discourage you. Press in and bring the kingdom of God into your imagination and it will become a reality. See things as they ought to be not as they are. This is the basic principle we keep attempting to instill in each one of us…believing FAITH.

Faith brings all the benefits of salvation into our lives (Ephesians 2:8,9). This includes healing, prosperity, peace, love, joy (1 Peter 1:8), deliverance from demons and the curse, sanctification of the mind and emotions (the salvation of the soul) and any other benefit which is in the word of God. Why not see our nation coming out victorious in all the challenges we are facing? We are being prepared for the great harvest of souls that is ahead.

Never forget to be thankful for the present situation our nation and we personally are going through. It may be difficult at times to see things with that perspective but each of us has been placed in this season of time to see America restored and saved. We must pray without ceasing, with persistence and consistency, looking ahead with full confidence in God who is merciful, loving, and compassionate.

Remember, to rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. The Word says to let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. May we always remind ourselves of the basics of prayer. Nothing will be impossible as the Lord has equipped each of us to make a Divine impact in the sphere of influence he has placed before us.

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1)

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18)
