Tonight’s Call – ROSEMARIE WRIGHT…PERSEVERANCE!

As we approach this Gregorian calendar New Year, we must not allow complacency or apathy to set in. Weariness can influence several people to give up. The Word of God says deferred hope makes the heart sick. We must not lose hope as so much has been unveiled and exposed. Most of us did not realize the process of what was to take place. The key to seeing through to our victory is perseverance. It helps us to make progress even when things get tough.

PERSEVERANCE: It is persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success.

The Bible teaches us to persevere in faith, trusting God to fulfill His promises. When we face difficulties, we can trust that God understands our situation and sees our distress. We are the conveyors of truth bringing light to a darkened world. We must keep looking forward to the breakthrough of victory, never looking back but focusing on what we have accomplished. Perseverance is the ability to keep doing something despite obstacles. People who persevere show steadfastness in doing something despite how hard it is or how long it takes to reach the goal. Sometimes it’s called just plain grit

An example of perseverance is Thomas Edison. The inventor of the electric light bulb, he revolutionized modern life. Edison tried relentlessly to realize his vision of the lightbulb. He failed hundreds, thousands, of times before he had his breakthrough moment. Edison had goals and dreams, but he did not allow the obstacles and setbacks to deter him from the success he would achieve.

Never allow the fear of failure to enter the picture as we are partnering with Divine intervention. We must continue to have the determination and dedication to pray and take all action steps to preserve freedom for future generations. May we declare together that we will finish what we started as 2023 approaches. Stay the course and hold the line!

“Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance character; and character, hope. “ (Romans 5:3-4)

“Because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” (James 1:3)

“May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.” (2 Thessalonians 3:5)

After being up all night with a sick kid, a young single mom faces a grueling day at work. What does she need most? That’s easy. She needs strength. Inspirational quotes on social media feeds and energy bars have their place. But what she really needs is an infusion of physical stamina, emotional power, and spiritual muscle so she can keep putting 1 foot in front of the other. Most people can use a little extra help from time to time. Some people, however, seem like they don’t need anything. To an outsider, King David of Israel probably came across that way. He was one of the most powerful men on earth. He had political clout, military might, and more wealth that he could ever spend. He had at his disposal the world’s best personal security force, a fortress for a palace, a team of wise and godly prophets, and priests to advise him.

But David was wise enough to recognize that apart from God, all his securities were only deceptive insecurities. He understood that our need for strength is always greater than our earthly advantages. David surely would have laughed at the adage we commonly toss around: “God will never give you more than you can handle.” It sounds right– merciful, even. It just isn’t Biblical. David would never argue that God often allows hardships into the lives of His people. This drives us to look to Him and depend on Him.

Are you out of gas today? Look to the Lord. And even if you’re not physically spent or feeling emotionally weary today, look to God. Trust in His power to make it through the day or ask for His strength to fill you and animate you so that you might have the power to live and speak for Him (Acts 1:8). Ask for strength to resist sin and make a difference in the lives of others. And thank God for his ability to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20).

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and He helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.” (Psalm 28:7)

DAY OF POWER…FAITH 2 ACTION MICHIGAN JANUARY 7TH

METRO DETROIT CHRISTIAN CHURCH – 6655 Middlebelt Rd – West Bloomfield MI

This will be a gathering of reformers in God’s longing to change Michigan on Saturday, January 7 from 1 PM to 9 PM. We are asking all activists, citizens and believers, leaders, and pastors who desire change in the social, educational, economic, and governmental order of Michigan to attend. It will be a time to be infused with power and authority from Jesus Christ. We must have something more than human grit and political strategies. It is through worship, preaching and teaching, challenging testimonies, and gifts and outpourings of the Holy Spirit where we will see victory.

STRATEGY GATHERING JANUARY 6TH AT MICHOP – 12 NOON –
322 WEST OTTAWA – LANSING, MI
We need to hear the voice of the Lord as we go into this year of 2023. We must have God’s strategies and not men. The only way to attain this is through unadulterated prayer, praise, and worship. We are calling for pastors, ministry leaders, intercessors or any who has a heart to pray to join us this day in Lansing.

HOME SCHOOL MEETING WITH FULTON SHEEN LAST DECEMBER 13TH

The December 13^th meeting at Resurgence Church was great and had around 100 people in attendance. I presented a 25-minute power point to frame and explain the current state of affairs and what happens at the end of a session/election and what happens in every new session. We also discussed what will no longer be able to be done and what could happen with the complete change of control of the Michigan House, Senate, State Departments, Courts and all statewide positions. The next hour was by far the best part of the meeting as each person in the audience briefly introduced themselves and shared why they came to the meeting. There were many Home School organization leaders, teachers and activists who were there as well. Below is a list of the organizations I was able to remember and a link for you to listen to the meeting: UFC (United for Christ), Grace Home School Association, Classical Conversations, First Additions, Michigan Home School Network (formerly INCH).
