Tonight’s Call – MARK GURLEY…DO NOT LIMIT GOD!
The harder the conflict the more glorious the triumph. In today’s era of hostility toward freedoms of religion and conscience, it is important to be reminded of challenges Americans have faced in the past. No matter the seriousness and depth of the conflict we must not limit God. It is very easy to let our emotions limit our faith during troubling times. You must decide to do what’s in your heart, not your head. That’s where God is, in your heart. The only limit to your faith is your knowledge and understanding of God, which grows every time you read your Bible, memorize a new scripture verse, participate in a Bible study, or meditate on a scriptural truth. We, as a people of faith, can limit God in our lives. Jesus was limited when he walked the earth ministering from town to town. He could not do many miracles in his own hometown because of their unbelief.
“But Jesus said to them, a prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house. Now he did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief” (Matthew 13:57-58)
We must question ourselves on whether we have head or heart faith. Most people believe in their head only and never receive what God has promised! The head sees, counts things true, understands, but only the heart can appropriate and lay hold of and cling to the things that are freely given to us of God [1 Cor. 2:12]. God looks upon your heart and not your head faith! This faith only works by LOVE!!!
Head Faith vs Heart Faith!
Head faith brings us nothing!
Heart Faith brings us everything that is available in Christ Jesus!
Head Faith looks at the surroundings, difficulties, and circumstances!
Heart Faith looks at the things desired and the promises of God and refuses to look at the hindrances! It laughs at impossibilities and cries “It shall be done”.
Head Faith is strong when things are favorable!
Heart Faith is as strong when all things are against it, as it rests on the Almighty God!
Head Faith grows weak and fails when the answer is delayed!
Heart Faith saysI received when I prayed, and the answer is as much mine now as it will be when I have it manifested!
Head Faith says be careful not to profess until you can see, for so by doing you may bring reproach to the cause!
Heart Faith says the thing I am asking is sure to appear soon and confirm my profession and I shall honor His cause because God always rewards faith!
Head Faith says there might be a failure!
Heart Faith says because of His promises and God’s oath to keep His promise, it is impossible for failure to come!
Head Faith says I trusted until I saw things get worse!
Heart Faith says, “Though He slay me yet will I trust in Him”. [Job 13:15].
Head Faith reasons about things!
Heart Faith lays hold of things that are beyond all reason and expects God to do the impossible! [2 Cor. 10:5]
Head Faith investigates as to how God is working, and as to the progress and results!
Heart Faith clings to His Word even when there is nothing as evidence!
Head Faith says I know I have my petition when my senses give evidence that it is in my possession; when I can see it; feel it; or otherwise experience it!
Heart Faith says “I know I have it now, because I have met the conditions and have taken it. It is the heart that sees the invisible and theevidence of things not seen!
Head Faith gives up easily!
Heart Faith says I will not let you go until you bless me! – [Gen.32:26, Mat.15:22-28].
Head Faith gets discouraged easily!
Heart Faith says, “This is the victory that overcomes the world; even our faith.” [1 John 5:4]
Head Faith says it will be done sometime!
Heart Faith says it was done when I prayed!

NAMES OF GOD SERIES – CHRISTOPHER HUDSON – MELEKH HAGOYIM…KING OF NATIONS!
Moses witnessed God defeat the enemies of the Hebrew people. He celebrated God, recognizing Him as more than the King of the Hebrews but the king overall. Moses knew that God was the one who appointed and deposed Kings. He supersedes all earthly powers (Deuteronomy 3:21; 7:24). Many generations later, Jeremiah watched the painful fall of the nation of Israel. And with a heart torn by grief, Jeremiah also recognizes God as the Melekh Hagoyim: King of nations. It was easy for Moses to herald God is King of the nations. It was surely harder for Jeremiah, who could only stand by helplessly as his people were devastated.
God’s kingship over the earth does not depend on news headlines or the pronouncements of so-called experts. Even when things look bleak such as when our business fails, our families suffer, the country turns away from God, or nations are threatened by war, God is still on His throne. No matter what, we can put our confidence in Him as king, just as Jeremiah did. God chose Abraham and promised He would bless the world through his descendants (Genesis 12:3). But this didn’t mean God would be King of the Jews– Abraham’s descendants– only.
Since the beginning, He has been raining and ruling over all individuals, all families, all people groups, and all countries– even those who have tried to close their borders to Him. Revelation 15:3 offers a final mention of God as the King of the nations. When the storyline of the world draws to a close, evil will have run its course and approach its end. In the final chapter history, God will be declared the winner, the last one standing, the King of the nations. No matter where we look– past, present, or future– our God is in charge. He is King of the nations.
QUESTION: What world events seem most overwhelming without the hope of the King of the nations?
“Who should not fear you, King of the nations? This is your due. Among all the wise leaders of the nations and in all their kingdoms, there is no one like you.” (Jeremiah 10:7)

2. STRATEGY GATHERING JANUARY 6TH AT MICHOP – 12 NOON – 322 WEST OTTAWA – LANSING, MI
We need to hear the voice of the Lord as we go into this year of 2023. We must have God’s strategies and not men. The only way to attain this is through unadulterated prayer, praise, and worship. We are calling for pastors, ministry leaders, intercessors or any who has a heart to pray to join us this day in Lansing.
3. HOME SCHOOL MEETING WITH FULTON SHEEN LAST DECEMBER 13TH
The December 13th meeting at Resurgence Church was great and had around 100 people in attendance. I presented a 25-minute power point to frame and explain the current state of affairs and what happens at the end of a session/election and what happens in every new session. We also discussed what will no longer be able to be done and what could happen with the complete change of control of the Michigan House, Senate, State Departments, Courts and all statewide positions. The next hour was by far the best part of the meeting as each person in the audience briefly introduced themselves and shared why they came to the meeting. There were many Home School organization leaders, teachers and activists who were there as well. Below is a list of the organizations I was able to remember and a link for you to listen to the meeting: UFC (United For Christ), Grace Home School Association, Classical Conversations, First Additions, Michigan Home School Network (formerly INCH).
