Tonight’s Call – COREY SHANKLETON…ARE ALL THE SAME IN CHRIST!
What is a Christian? It is a person who believes in Jesus Christ and follows his teachings. Christians believe in one God that created heaven, earth, and the universe. The belief in one God originated with the Jewish religion. Christians believe Jesus is the Messiah or savior of the world. Christianity holds to certain basic beliefs. Jesus Christ is unique because of the virgin birth; belief in ONE God and the triune nature; the necessity of the cross regarding salvation; the resurrection and second coming; and inspiration of the Scripture. Jesus is God in the flesh!
Many in America wear the tagline of the name Christian. Research has shown that very few people who claim to be Christians or are born again have a Biblical Worldview. Do you have a Biblical Worldview? Answer the following questions, based on claims found in the Bible and which George Barna used in his survey:
- Do absolute moral truths exist?
- Is absolute truth defined by the Bible?
- Did Jesus Christ live a sinless life?
- Is God the all-powerful and all-knowing Creator of the universe, and does He still rule it today?
- Is salvation a gift from God that cannot be earned?
- Is Satan real?
- Does Heaven and Hell exist?
- Does a Christian have a responsibility to share his or her faith in Christ with other people?
- Is the Bible accurate in all its teachings?
Very few people who claim to be Christians know and understand the 10 Commandments. We are in a time where a line is being drawn into the sand where not all of those who say they are in Christ are of Christ. The Church is being redefined where God’s remnant must have true Biblical convictions. They will stand for them and not compromise. We must all examine ourselves whether we are truly in the faith. As Christ died for us, would you lay your life down for Him? A line of demarcation has been set and those who choose to cross it will face persecution as we run directly into an antichrist culture. May we never forget perfect love casts out all fear. What shall we say to those things which challenge us? If God is for us, who can be against us? We must be firm and committed to the cause of Christ. Winning souls for the kingdom must always be our priority. It is a great day to be alive as we have been chosen to change the course of history. As true Christians, stay the course and hold the line!
“Then Jesus said to His disciples, if anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Matthew 16:24-26)
“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
“Enter by the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14)

Lawyer up! That’s the console usually given to people charged with a crime. Don’t say anything without an attorney present! From real life to TV shows, we all know a competent lawyer is a blessing. Good lawyers know the loss technicalities and loopholes. They can make a convincing case and influence a jury. Great legal representation typically means the wrongly accused avoid prosecution. And sometimes it means even those who are guilty win acquittal. Whatever term you use– attorney, barrister, Esq.– a lawyer is a legal advocate who stands beside you in court as you face charges. A lawyer fights for you in court as you face accusations.
The good news of the gospel is that as spiritual criminals or sinners, we have an advocate in Jesus Christ. He argues the stunning facts. Yes, we are sinners, guilty as charged, deserving of conviction, worthy of death (Romans 3:23; 6:23). But Jesus died for the ungodly– for us– in our place (Romans 5:6, 8). By faith in what Christ has done for us, we are justified or declared righteous, resulting in peace with God (Romans 5:1). We have been given the free gift of eternal life (Romans 6:23). There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). Though we once were God’s enemies (Romans 5:10) we are now His children and heirs (Romans 8:16-17). Nothing can ever separate us from God’s love (Romans 8:39).
It’s an airtight case where perfect justice meets perfect mercy and love. Remember these things the next time the accuser of believers (Revelation 12:10) starts launching his demonic attacks on your soul. You don’t have to defend yourself. Your defender– your advocate– is Jesus Christ the righteous.

“My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father–Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.” (1 John 2:1)

We are asking all activists, citizens and believers, leaders, and pastors who desire change in the social, educational, economic, and governmental order of Michigan to attend. It will be a time to be infused with power and authority from Jesus Christ. We must have something more than human grit and political strategies. It is through worship, preaching and teaching, challenging testimonies, and gifts and outpourings of the Holy Spirit where we will see victory.

We need to hear the voice of the Lord as we go into this year of 2023. We must have God’s strategies and not men. The only way to attain this is through unadulterated prayer, praise, and worship. We are calling for pastors, ministry leaders, intercessors or any who has a heart to pray to join us on this day in Lansing.

CIS has deployed “Albert” Sensors to “secure” State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial (SLTT) jurisdictions while the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) deploys their “Einstein” system to secure federal agencies. In the wake of Elon Musk’s Twitter File revelations showing that the FBI interfered directly with the 2020 election, investigators have discovered that Albert Sensor deployment via the CIS non-government organization (NGO) enables current and former federal employees to interfere with our elections. Albert Sensors have access to 98% of our nation’s election infrastructure. These sensors serve as gatekeepers for our election records.
