Tonight’s Call – David YARNES…LAWSUITS THAT PROTECT RELIGIOUS FREEDOM!
Freedom of religion or religious liberty is a principle that supports the freedom of an individual or community, and public or private, to manifest religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship, and observance. It is a right to think and express our biblical convictions and we must never take it for granted. We must stand up to those who would try to steal that basic human right from us. Due to the spirit of the age which is evil that has permeated our culture there are many action steps we can take preceded by prayer. It will take the grassroots or what we call normal people to take on religious freedom abuses that many are facing. You heard the saying if you give them an inch, they’ll take a mile. We will not allow the enemy of our souls to take our land. We must rise and be voices for the Lord to advance His kingdom purposes in the regions we occupy. As stated in the word of encouragement below we are moving into a time of great victories with supernatural blessings. This can only manifest if we step forward and rise! God has provided the whole armor of God for each of us to be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. May that armor be in its proper place.
“Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.” (Psalm 94:16-17)
“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness in this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:11-13)

“We are in amazing, supernatural times in which new plans from the Godhead have begun to manifest. In many ways, last year set the table prophetically for our future. Prophetic words from the past received fresh emphasis and have begun to activate. “I recently heard the Holy Spirit say, ‘It is time for God-happenings. Thousands of Kingdom events will occur.’ We are moving into a season of great God-planned events aided by angelic assistance. The King’s Ekklesia has begun functioning at higher levels of our Kingdom authority, and the Kingdom of Christ is expanding in its influence.
“I have been pondering, praying and asking for revelation regarding 2023. The Holy Spirit reminded me of past prophecies and promises given to the heirs of God, His sons, and daughters. I believe we are moving into a time when great victories will be seen in the individual lives of Kingdom heirs. Great breakthroughs will activate in the lives of God’s family members who declare ownership of His promises. Greater inheritance benefits will be received by those heirs.
“A Kingdom shift in the spiritual atmosphere will make it easier to receive inheritance blessings from the Father. We are moving into a time of blessing, refreshing, and strengthening for the children of God. He wants us strong and courageous, well able to live our lives in joy and gladness as functioning citizens of His Kingdom – occupying and carrying out God’s family business until Christ returns.
“As I was praying into this, I received a prophetic download from the Holy Spirit. He said, ‘The heirs will begin to breathe fresh air. For fresh resurrection breath, even now, is being breathed by the Father on the sons and daughters. Emotions will resurrect. Feelings will resurrect. Minds will resurrect. Physical bodies bound by spirits of infirmity, disease and all manner of sicknesses will resurrect. Those living skeletal lives of existence will resurrect. Those plagued by demonic fatigue will resurrect. Broken hearts will resurrect. Fresh air is being breathed upon the heirs. They shall breathe fresh air.

Sometimes it is the things we can see that are the most dangerous; Internet hackers; taxes and the air; impurities in our food; that the erratic driver coming our way, right around the corner, just out of sight. Where can we find safety and refuge from such threats? In the Bible, we read about cities of refuge. These designated cities provided a safe place where people could flee and hide. If, for example, you accidentally kill someone, you could hightail it to one of the cities of refuge and find protection. Within the city walls, you’d be safe from any grieving, Irate family members seeking vengeance. As long as you remain in this place of refuge, you are safe from the threat of surprise retaliation. In the Bible, we also see another expert in seeking and finding refuge. David often hunkered down in caves to avoid the inclement weather or to hide from the murderous King Saul. David rarely knew exactly where Saul was– only that he was out there somewhere, looking for him, and that he might strike at any time.
It’s no surprise, then, to see David begin to refer to God as his refuge (Maschsi). It’s such a great word with such a rich image. Maschsi means my shelter, but it can also be translated as my hope or my trust. No city or cave is completely safe, but David learned that Jehovah Maschsi always is. You may only be aware of a few threats today and oblivious to 100 other dangers. But you can trust God as your refuge to shield you from all the troubles you see, as well as the dangers you can’t even imagine. The true power of God is that He saves us in many ways we will never know, because due to His intervention, we never saw those dangers come to fruition in the first place.
QUESTION: Looking back on your life, where have you seen God’s protection long after the danger had passed?
“God is our refuge and strength, and ever present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)
