Tonight’s Call – DIVINE URGENCY OF THE HOUR!

In Michigan and I suppose in other states we have these medical facilities called “Urgent Care”. The word URGENT certainly has a distinct meaning we all recognize. As we look at the definition below do our respective states reside in and our nation fall into this category?

URGENT: A state or situation requiring immediate action or attention.

Do we need immediate attention from heaven above? Yes! Where must urgency begin? Urgency based on a personal basis is Heavens urgent message when a person dies there is nothing else but God’s judgment (Hebrews 9:27). Since we do not know when anyone will die, we must urgently warn men and women everywhere to repudiate sin and to turn to God! The word of God challenges us to have a sense of urgency in sharing the gospel and doing work of the Lord (John 9:4).

In looking at our nation, there is a feeling that there are extreme pressing concerning matters of spiritual importance. We need to continue to address these as soon as possible. In this newsletter we attempt to inform the church by asking the right questions and posting articles/videos to provoke thought. Remedies and solutions are needed as we see America’s slide into a state of moral depravity.

How many times have we moved in prayer and action. We, the Ecclesia, are and will be the fire that burns up the mountain. The urgency of the hour is our call to partner with the Lord as He gives us Divine directives to move into the culture, we are called go occupy and take the offensive. Identify your sphere of influence and seek the Lord how you can have an impact to reflect the urgency of the hour. We will continue to provide action step suggestions. We are the circuit riders to distribute and proclaim the message. Stay the course and hold the line!

“Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matthew 3:2)

“Seek the Lord while He may be found; call on Him while He is near.” (Isaiah 55:6)

“For the Lord will carry out His sentence upon the earth fully and without delay.” (Romans 9:28)

“Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.” (Ecclesiastes 8:11)

The good news or the gospel of Jesus begins with the pronouncement that humans are not right with God. That sounds like the opposite of good news! What are unrighteous people like us to do? We are to call upon Jehovah Tzidkenu, which means the Lord our righteousness. Tzidkenu is from the Hebrew word tsedek. It means right, righteous, declared innocent. Simply put, righteousness is rightness–being and doing what is right. Because God is righteousness itself, He always does what is right.

Here is how that truth God our righteousness makes a difference in our lives: First, we can glory in God’s righteousness. Because God only does what is right, we can trust Him to keep His Word. We can also count on Him to use His power to protect, strengthen, and bless us. We can expect Him to deal rightly with evil. In short, we can be confident that He will never do what is wrong. Second, we trust that it is God’s righteousness that rescues us from our own unrighteousness. Because God is pure righteousness, He can have nothing to do with sin or with unredeemed sinners. This would be a hopeless scenario if not for Jesus.

It is through Jesus’ work on the cross that we are made right with God. By grace, Christ takes our sin; by faith; we receive His righteousness. Because of His righteousness, we become right with God. This doesn’t mean that we still don’t make mistakes. Yet despite our failures, God sees us as righteous in Jesus. That is the rest of the forever and gain His righteousness. If you hate Gospel. Because none of us are automatically, naturally right with God, Jesus came and lived a righteous life. Then He offered Himself as a sacrifice for sin. Those who turn to Him in faith, in a real sense, lose their unrighteousness forever and gain His righteousness. If you hate to be wrong and love to be right, know that you will never be less wrong or more right than when you are in Christ.

QUESTION: In what specific ways are you grateful for God’s righteousness?
