Tonight’s Call – ECCLESIA/UNITY IN OUR DIVERSITY – AUSTIN KREUTZ!
UNITY IN OUR DIVERSITY!
We are all different and represent a different part of the body of Christ. Many times, we try to make people like we are. We attempt to make them believe exactly as we do and not allow people to keep their identity in Christ. The parts of the body of Christ are uniquely different and we must allow people to remain who they are in Him. If one is an arm let them be an arm; if another is a leg let them remain to be a leg. No matter who we are and what differences we have, we can still agree to pray together even though it may not be in the same venue. A house divided cannot stand so we must give each other space in our uniqueness and allow God to work in each of us. If we focus on Jesus Christ and His Word, then unity in our diversity will manifest.
To bring different denominations and streams into a unified prayer movement we must recognize their identity. We find other words and doctrines such as prophetic, end time views, harp and bowl, apostolic, Cessations, Calvinist, Armenian, speaking in tongues, eternal security, etc., alienating parts of the body of Christ. This should not be! We are facing a common spiritual devastation upon our land! We need each other in prayer, praise and worship and submit to God’s order of unity in His body. Are we connecting with those who profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior? Is Christ the only way as He came, died, and rose again to take away the sins of the world? This is where our unity lies, not in terminologies which are expressions of callings people have in God.
So again, we must give each other space, and allow each part of the church to be who they are without trying to make them as we are. Isn’t it amazing when 911 occurred many years ago, how the church temporarily pulled together for prayer? Miraculously the Congress of the United States was united for a season of time. Let this be a lesson to us! Yes, there are different spiritual forces at work, but we must make every attempt to move towards unity. The Grace is there for us to overcome, and we will step through this window of opportunity.
A WORD PICTURE: Try to imagine a devastating flood about to impact the region where you live. The flood that would soon be coming would destroy homes, businesses; our way of life, and possibly lives would be lost. The only possible hope would be to come together as one community to pitch sandbags to hold back the rising flood waters. Many people would be needed, along with trucks, sandbags, shovels, and other implements to finish the job.
In this scenario, I would find it rather hard to believe if people were asking each other: Are you a Republican or a Democrat? Are you a Baptist, Catholic, or a Pentecostal? Are you a male or female? Are you black, white, Asian, or Hispanic? I believe the answer to these questions is simple, because the questions would be irrelevant. We need to work together to save the city, our property, and our way of life. A realization of the devastation that was coming was enough to bring together that particular community in a unity of purpose.
So, what am I trying to say? There is a spiritual devastation upon our land and the church must arise and come together as one united body. We no longer have a choice but must lay down our doctrinal differences, persuasions, pride, control, envies, jealousies, bitterness, offenses, and any strife or contention between us. If this can be done in a united front of prayer, we can save our state and nation. We have an opportunity to bring Transformation to Michigan and be part in releasing it to our country! Unity in our diversity and desperation in our prayers will bring heaven to earth.
“History has demonstrated that Christians do not achieve unity by discussing doctrine in the abstract. But as Christians are willing to acknowledge Christ in His fullness, and to give Christ His rightful position in their lives and in the church, the various doctrines of Christianity all fit together in Him, just like the spokes of a wheel in a hub.” [Derek Prince – Shaping History through Prayer and Fasting]
The modern-day Ecclesia has a a responsibility to step forward and lead. A continued awakening must continue from our pulpits in America. Sound the alarm and blow the Trumpet.
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the LORD commanded the blessing –Life forevermore.” (Psalm 133)
“You shall no longer be termed Forsaken, Nor shall your land any more be termed Desolate; But you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; For the LORD delights in you, And your land shall be married. For as a young man marries a virgin, So shall your sons marry you; And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, So shall your God rejoice over you. I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent, And give Him no rest till He establishes And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” (Isa 62:4-7)
“Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.” (Matt 12:25)

DAILY DECLARATION WE SHOULD BE MAKING:
“I am bought by the covenantal Blood of Jesus, and I cannot be cursed. Therefore, I take authority over every demonic assignment against myself, my family, my ministry, my business or my God-ordained leadership role. I break every assignment of Athaliah, and every type of spirit that goes along with it – the affliction, the constriction, the compression; and I decree right now, in Jesus’ name, that Jesus is my true King, and I will serve Him only. I declare I am in covenant with God and I’m going to be the intercessor, the reformer, and the watchman-warrior that He has called me to be. I receive fresh fire from Heaven so that I can complete my assignments and fulfill my destiny, in the name of Jesus Christ.”
NAMES OF GOD CHRISTOPHER HUDSON…!
Maybe you’ve heard someone argue that the various world religions are just different paths to a common destination. God is on the top of the mountain, so to speak, and it doesn’t matter which upper road you take– in the end they all lead to the same place. The ancient Hebrews tried that approach. At times they worship an idol named Baal. Other times they worshiped Asherah. At one point, some of the Hebrews even worship a false God by offering child sacrifices. Each time, God confronted their idolatry and insisted on unrelenting devotion’s: “You shall have no other gods before me” (Exodus 20:3).
God wants first place in our hearts and lives. When we turn to the God of the Bible as the one true God, we necessarily turn away from all other gods. We cannot find our fulfillment while worshiping anyone or anything other than God. He deserves our first allegiance– before career, before friends, before money, even before family. It was Jesus Christ who made history’s remarkable claim: I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me (John 14:6). Notice He didn’t say, I am a truth or I am one of many truths. This utter exclusivity prompted C. S. Lewis to observe the following in this essay “Christian Apologetic”: Christianity is a statement which, if false, is of no importance, and, if true, of infinite importance. The one thing it cannot be is moderately important. God is the one true God. There is no salvation or true satisfaction anywhere else.
QUESTION: How do people define truth today? Is truth relative?
“We know also that the son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true. And we are in Him who is true by being in His son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.” (1 John 3:20)
