Tonight’s Call – REVEALING OF CHRIST IN THE CONTINUED SHAKING!
The literal sound of God’s voice will shake the earth. Everything that could be shaken is being shaken. The Almighty God is saying that when He shakes the world for your sake, He would partner with you in whatever you do and wherever you go. God will send help to you from above and cover our nakedness. We are in a time where a greater revelation of Jesus Christ must be made known for each and every one of us. This will take seeking His face and coming before his throne to find help, and grace, in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Reading Psalm 91 currently and being under the shadow of his wings is very comforting. The word says perfect love casts out all fear! These are scriptural admonitions to ensure each and every one of us that God is there and will act in our behalf. Shakings are a test! At times severe shakings in people’s lives must be brought to bear in order for them to look up and say God help me!
We may have doubts and questions, but just because our faith is shaken at times doesn’t mean we aren’t a Christian or we don’t love God. It is part of human nature. So we must continue connecting with the Lord in our faith will grow through any shaking. The Lord is positioning our nation right now to return to righteousness. What we have experienced the last number of years is exposure after exposure. Shaking’s will awaken people in that is what is necessary for the Jesus Revolution to manifest.
Stay the course and hold the line!
“And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised saying,” Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven.” (Hebrews 12:26-27)
“The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness; the Lord shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.” (Psalm 29:8)

The Old Testament except for a few Aramaic chapters in the book of Ezra, Jeremiah, and Daniel is written entirely in Hebrew. Hebrew is a beautiful language with rich words that often contained the nuances our English versions can’t convey. For instance, the Hebrew word racham is usually translated compassionate or merciful. That’s an accurate rendering of the term. However, racham is also related to the same root word that is translated womb. Add racham’s meaning to its etymology and you get the picture of the affection and care and expected mother has for the new life growing inside her. This is what biblical compassion is, and these insights give us a more complete understanding of our compassionate God. He’s a God of care and kindness. He remembers. He’s empathetic and tender. He hurts when those He loves are hurting. But the buying compassion doesn’t just stop with concern. God doesn’t just feel badly for those in trouble. He’s protective. He swings into action to defend His own.
God’s compassion can affect our lives in two distinct ways. It should give us confidence in His promises, and it should fill us with compassion for others. When Jesus told His disciples to love others, E was telling them to show others the compassion that God had shown them. God’s power isn’t only seen in His ability to control and exert His will often is most clearly seen through acts of mercy, kindness, and love. What does the gospel tell us? If someone is lonely, sit with him. If someone is thirsty, give her something to drink. If someone is called, give him a blanket. If someone is homeless, take her under your rock. If someone doesn’t know about Jesus, tell them the Good News. Tell the person about the compassionate God. We are best able to show compassion when we have first been on the receiving end of the buying compassion.
