Tonight’s Call – DAVID’S TABERNACLE AMOS 9:11!
The Tabernacle of David is what gave the church its very foundation. It is a shadow or type of the freedom that we must come directly before the presence of God without any partition. It is where we learn how to worship and praise God with joy and spirit. There was continuous praise and worship in David’s tabernacle. Today is exemplified in the life of Jesus which is a lifestyle of continuous praise and worship. This rebuilding of David’s tabernacle as a result of this return of God was inaugurated by the resurrection and exultation of Christ and is being progressively realized in the gathering of Gentile believers into the covenant people of God.
God is calling His church to pray as one. Jesus Christ has an existing praying remnant… the hidden ones throughout Michigan and other states. Who are we? We are a group of pastors, churches, ministries and individuals who believe in a John 17 co-laboring unity who are willing to pray together to preserve a future for our children and grandkids. We are willing to allow Christ to be the head of His body. We are that tabernacle today, and it resides within us.
The New Testament tabernacle is made up of the 5-fold ministry gifts, churches, ministries, pastors and individuals will allow each to keep its unique assignment and identity. In this New Testament Tabernacle God is in control as we will provide structure where leaders will work together to advance the Kingdom of God. Jesus said His house would be a house of prayer – this is where the agreement begins. We trust that the grace, anointing, guidance, and love of Christ will bring a Psalm 133 unity in prayer as the “Watch of the Lord” grows throughout our nation.
TABERNACLE OF DAVID…RAY HUGHES:
“And with this the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written: After this I will return and will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down; I will rebuild its ruins, and I will set it up; so that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, even all the Gentiles who are called by My name, says the Lord who does all these things.” (Acts 15: 15-17)
“On that day I will raise up the Tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, and repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, and rebuild it as in the days of old;” (Amos 9:11)

PROTECT LIFE MI…A CHALLENGE
NAMES OF GOD CHRISTOPHER HUDSON…JEHOVAH QADASH – THE LORD WHO SANCTIFIES!
Why would a just and holy God care about the troubles of people who are simply reaping the harsh consequences of their own foolish decisions? Why should a perfect God pay attention to the prayers of imperfect people who are reliable only in their unreliability? Why does a civil is God gives grace and multiple chances to people who repeatedly choose their own path over His? God does these things because he is Jehovah Qadash, which means the Lord who makes holy. This is one of the most remarkable things about God. One might think that God, being God, would be content to sit back and bask in His glory and honor. On the contrary, He is loving and generous. He actually pays attention to is broken people.
This is one of the great mysteries of life. Though sinful people do not deserve a second glance, let alone a second chance, God is not right up humanity. Instead, God has been implementing a holiness plan for us that was designed even before our first ancestors sinned. It’s a mind-boggling plan that not only makes us right with God but also makes us holy light His Son, Jesus. God desire for every believer is that Christ is formed in them (Galatians 4:19). How can this be when we follow Christ so imperfectly? We stumble. We fail. Like Thomas, we doubt if God will come through. Like Peter, we deny Him when we get scared. Like David, we seek our own pleasure rather than God’s heart. Yet still, God continues relentlessly, stubbornly, to love and transform us. He is committed to see us grow into Christ likeness.
What’s the promise of the God who sanctifies? He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). Why does God love you? Why does he want to see you continue to grow in your faith? Why does He care? Because God loves you too much to leave you as you are.
QUESTION/COMMENT: Describe a change in your life that you know was caused by spiritual growth!
“Then the Lord said to Moses, say to the Israelites, you must observe my sabbaths. This will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come, so you may know that I am the Lord, who makes you holy.” (Exodus 31:12-13)
