Tonight’s Call – LORD HEAL OUR LANDS! Lana Kristal and Rosemarie Wright
We are in the day where healing is needed in so many areas. It can be personal physical healing, emotional healing, and spiritually healing of our land(s). We are praying for the nation of Israel for the next three weeks. There is a great parallel between America and Israel regarding what is manifesting in each nation. Both lands are hurting and in deep need of God’s divine healing. Appropriately, this admonition from God addresses the critical fact that the sin and wickedness in the lives of the people in these nations has a direct and disastrous effect on the health of these nations and the global community.
What is the spiritual meaning of land? The land was ultimately a place where God could dwell with humans. It is a place for God’s space and human space overlap. In the garden, humans walked with God in the cool of the day, experiencing His gracious gifts and ruling over creation with Him. Sin entered the world into this place which corrupted the land. In Deuteronomy 28 that whole chapter is designated as blessings and curses where obedience and disobedience to God occurs. As we look at America and Israel today, healing of the lands is a priority in our Divine appeals to heaven.
The lands of Israel and America have been polluted by sin. It has manifested through the corruption of morality and disobedience to the 10 Commandments of God. History is very cyclical, and we see numerous times in the Old Testament where God brought judgment or blessing depending on the response of the inhabitants of the land. Many times, God has allowed a nation to catapult into such a low degradation where people begin to awaken. Most of the time, we must be brought to such a low place where the only way to look is up! America and Israel are in such a place. The question is what will we do? Who will rise up? We have consistently challenged people on this call to be people of prayer and action.
When looking at the people who occupy these lands, we see great need for physical healing of our bodies; emotional healing of the heart; mental healing of the mind; spiritual healing of the spirit and soul; and the holistic healing of the body, heart, mind, and spirit. God is moving in the lands and we must grab that hem of the garment of Jesus Christ to receive virtue that is needed for healing (Matthew 9: 20-22).
“If my people who are called by my name humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, that I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).
“The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace” (Exodus 14:14)

ISRAEL STANDS FIRM AGAINST IRAN

NAMES OF GOD CHRISTOPHER HUDSON – EL CHAI…THE LIVING GOD!
Moses was the first person, as far as we know, to call God the living God (Deuteronomy 5:26). This designation placed the Israelites God in sharp contrast with the deities of their neighbors crafted out of wood, metal, and stone, those other gods were anything but alive one hard push or strong wind, and they would topple over! In effect, Moses was saying, our God is different! Our God is real! Our God is alive! It was this one, true God, the one who is life itself and the source of all physical and spiritual life, who first animated humanity in the garden of Eden (Genesis 2:7. Sin quickly introduces death into God’s perfect world (Romans 6:23). But what chance does sin or death have in the face of the all-powerful living God?
In the person of Jesus, the living God entered our world of death and announced, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6). Jesus also said, I have come that they (simple, spiritually dead people) may have life, and have it to the full (John 10:10). Such good news! We can know God through Jesus. This is what it means to come alive spiritually! God made new life fall, eternal, and spiritual life possible by the offering up of His son. Jesus laid down His life. But He didn’t remain dead! God the father brought Jesus thus Back to Life.
It was impossible for death to keep its hold on Him (Acts 2:24). Why? Because nothing can stop the living God. Only the living God can offer eternal life, a relationship with God and fellowship with Him that never ends. Jesus put it this way: Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent (John 17:3). You won’t be tempted today to serve a false god made of metal or wood or stone. But you will be tempted to give your heart to things that are God. Remember this: none of those things can give life. The life we need and the life we want is found only in the living God.
QUESTION/COMMENT: What could you do today to demonstrate your allegiance and reliance on the living God?
“My soul thirsts for God, for the living God, when can I go and meet with God?” (Psalm 42:2)
