Tonight’s Call – PREACHING THE GOSPEL ON UNIVERSITIES/SCHOOLS!
Our schools are in session, and we must pray for this younger generation. As our young people go off to college it appears they have not been grounded in their faith and turn away from the truth of God’s Word. This is a result of schools at lower levels eliminating prayer, the 10 Commandments, and any reference to God and the Bible. History revision is another type of attack on the minds of our young people. What if the educational process has been twisted and turned to bring forth an agenda to change society? This is not new as it has happened in the past. You have heard of the nasty regime under Adolf Hitler. He had said, “Give me the minds of one generation of youth and I will change the government of the next”. Could this happen in America? It is happening before your very eyes and I hope a case can be presented to you that you could ponder. A process that history revision that began in the 1960’s is now bearing evil consequences.
The question is what will you do about it? If we do not study history we are doomed to repeat it! If one is told that 1 + 1 + 3 long enough people will begin to believe it. Again, if we do not study history we are doomed to repeat it. College students for many years have undergone a “brain drain” where foundations of America have been destroyed. The greatest threat to America is that we have not passed on the fundamentals of our foundation, our constitution, American patriotism, and especially our Judeo-Christian values to this generation. Examine how this has opened the door to capture the minds of a generation, and how it threatens our very existence. The mission is to indoctrinate an ignorant electorate in Marxist ideology and lead them to surrender their liberty.
POINT TO PONDER: According to Thomas Jefferson, it is critical for Americans to ponder liberty, to study it, understand it, and know what it takes to preserve it. Liberty is a most precious yet fragile gift, and can easily be lost.
America, unlike other nations, was founded on ideas, principles and values such as God-given liberty, freedom, individual rights, personal responsibility, and unity. A nation built on ideas and principles cannot maintain its national identity nor survive if those principles are not taught, learned and reinforced. Our elementary, Middle Schools, and High Schools have failed miserably in this nation. In fact most history and social studies textbooks used in elementary and secondary schools are a disgrace. In the name of political correctness, multiculturalism, LGBTQ indoctrination, and “WOKEISM” numerous authors deliberately provide an inaccurate, dishonest account of American history. American citizens must demand that schools and their civic educators renew their civic commitment to teach the truth about America’s history and foundations, and instruct students in basic American values and patriotism. We will lose our national identity, which makes it much easier to lead the nation in the wrong direction. We will be uninterested and unable to fully participate in our democracy. Ignorance and apathy with respect to our history, our heritage, and our democracy will surely result in the loss of our freedom, our liberty, and our nation if it is not reversed.
WHO IS TO BLAME???
I lay this at the feet of the parents, church, and weak people we have elected to not perform their God given duty and responsibilities. But it is the primary responsibility of parents and the church. The Gospel must be preached as well as the truths of God’s Word. We have failed to train and equip our young people to defend the Christian faith. Apologetics must be taught to our young people. As our young people enter any university there is a godless piranha pool of professors, peers who have not been brought up in any of God’s word, and the pressures of fake news media, entertainment and Hollywood…which destroys their faith They are set up for a fall! So, authenticity of the Bible must be emphasized.
We must convey to all people that eternity hangs in the balance…. especially our young people. The truths of God’s word must be brought to the forefront. We all have a responsibility to our young people to be an influence regarding a Biblical worldview. Yes, there are those who are called to the streets, University campuses or any highway or by way to preach the gospel. Many have a gift of evangelism. But we all can impact the young people in our lives with the truth of God’s Word. We must be prepared ourselves to answer common questions that are planted as seeds of doubt.
NOTE: I am considering some nights where all of us on our nightly conference call would invite any young person in their sphere of influence. I would answer common questions that frequently arise when discussing the Word of God in various public scenarios. I believe this would be refresher for us all. As this nation is approaching a great shaking more of these young tender hearts will be open to the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. What do you think? – rw247365@gmail.com

POINT TO PONDER FOR PARENTS – Be Still And Know That I Am God· – “There comes a time – many times, actually – in the lives of our children where we have to put the basket in the water. We have to let go and trust the plan of the Father. The world is a scary place – a place where we fear our children could drown. But we must remember that we have to let go so that God can draw them from the waters for His great purpose. He has called us to be their parents, but they were His first. My friend, whatever water you may be getting ready to put your basket into – remember that you have to put them in the water for God to draw them out and place them into His perfect plan. Though you might not be physically present with your child as much during the next phase of life, you can always petition the heart of the Father on their behalf.” – Ashlei Woods
