Have you ever been in a theater sitting in front of pulled curtains or a veil? You sat there wondering what is behind the curtains and when they will be opened. The curtains are being pulled back at this time. A veil is being lifted from our eyes! What we are presently seeing is much more than we thought could be possible. It has been called draining of the swamp, but we are witnessing all the evil that has permeated our culture for decades. For many it will be very hard to handle to see how it got this way?
The fault always lies with the church due to lack of prayer and action steps to engage our culture. But we can be thankful that we serve a merciful God who has given us a door to step through to preserve the nation and a future for our children and grandchildren. He is allowing the curtains to be pulled back and the veil from our eyes to see how deceptive evil can be and how it easily spreads if not recognized. The greatest advantage an enemy can have over you is to make you believe it does not exist. A remnant always existed who realized what was taking over the culture. It moved behind the curtains slowly and methodically. The curtains have been opened wider and wider and now we must get out of our seats and take action wherever God has called us to.
“Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split,” (Matthew 27:51)
“Nevertheless, when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.” (2 Corinthians 3:16)
“The LORD opens the eyes of the blind; The LORD raises those who are bowed down; The LORD loves the righteous.” (Psalms 146:8)
