Many are feeling desperation today. Can you imagine what it was like to be crossing the Red Sea with the Egyptian army chasing you? I am sure there was a sense of desperation in those people. Many of us feel today we are being chased and this is true. Why is God allowing this to happen? Part of the reason it is a test of our faith and we must have patience as the way is being prepared. Prepared for what? A great rejoicing and celebration. After they crossed the Red Sea and the Egyptian army was swallowed up there was great rejoicing.
A way is being prepared for a great awakening and a harvest of souls. We must never lose sight that God is allowing desperation to occur. What is desperation? Desperation is a loss of hope and surrender to despair; a state of hopelessness leading to rashness. Desperation can lead to wrong decision-making and an irrational state of mind. We as believers in Jesus Christ carry the message of hope and this is our time to shine to be a lifeline to those around us. May we be anchored in our Christian faith as we carry the lifeline to those around us. Never lose hope as there is a greater plan at work so be encouraged. You are chosen by God to be part of his grand design today.
“This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil,” (Hebrews 6:19)
“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13)
“ And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.” (1 Peter 5:10)
