WHAT DO WE DO NOW? (ARIANNA KELSEY)
While living in a fast paced, chaotic society, how can we learn to maintain our peace when everyone else appears to be losing theirs? The answer is Biblical study and practice! This may sound obvious. However, the Christian fundamentals we neglect to consistently apply to our lives can often mean the difference between victory and defeat.
God has enabled me to overcome health issues, mental, emotional, and relational dysfunction, financial challenges, and family turmoil using Biblical study and practice. Like so many others today. I have dealt with divorce, bankruptcy, addictions, debilitating sick nurses, grief, fear, not to mention many other daunting and traumatic circumstances. Despite all this, I now have peace, and stressful situations no longer cause me to react like before. However, victory is not automatic. To keep our peace, we cannot allow life to speak louder than truth. Subjecting our issues and emotions to the Word of God helps us weather the storms of life with stability and clarity. For every problem we encounter, there is a steadfast solution– SCRIPTURE. Reading from a prison cell, the apostle Paul offered some excellent advice:
” Rejoice in the Lord always.”
“Let your gentleness be evident to all.”
“The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with gratitude, make your requests known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will protect your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
“Whatever is true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think on these things.”
Applying such truths has helped me on many occasions, and the more I practice the better I become. Isaiah 26:3 says, “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” Perspective is vital in winning the war against life’s trials. What we focus our time, thoughts, and attention on will determine our overall well-being. Nevertheless, we have a choice. Peace and patience are a choice, as is frustration and anxiety. We must be intentional about making consistently good choices to see good results, and by the grace of God we can do it! When many things look like they are failing, the weather is raging, systems, supply chains, and governments are crashing, people are spiraling out of control, and times are no longer certain, our only hope lasting hope is in God’s unchanging Word. All other attempts to save ourselves are futile.
Irrespective of what is currently happening in our world, or happening in the future, we can decide not to allow situations to steal our peace. It’s simply a matter of restraining our brain to think another way– God’s way! The next time you experience negative thoughts and emotions, replace them with the Word of God. Remember you’re not alone. You are greatly loved, and the Holy Spirit will help you. Keep meditating on the Scriptures continually until you sense your feelings and circumstances change. Always endeavor to be thankful and grateful, as this will assist you in alleviating many adverse symptoms. Don’t give up when you don’t see immediate results. Continue studying and practicing the Word, and trust that God has empowered you to attain your victory. Now imagine seeing yourself staying calm in the chaos, leaving God is with you and that He will never leave or forsake you. Would it feel amazing to help someone else do the same?
“What you have learned, received, heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.” (Philippians 4:4-10)
“I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust”. (Psalm 91:2)

NAMES OF GOD CHRISTOPHER HUDSON…YAHWEH CHANNUN – GOD OF GRACE!
God is known as the God of Grace…literally the God of undeserved favor. What does an unmerited blessing look like in a person’s life? God showed grace to Joseph’s brothers when He allowed Joseph to rescue them years after they mistreated him and sold him into slavery (Genesis 50:19-21). God poured out grace on the Israelites when He gave them a second set of tablets inscribed with the 10 Commandments after they disobeyed and disappointed Him (Genesis 32, 34). God’s grace rested on King David when he received forgiveness after arrogantly committing adultery and murder (2 Samuel 12:13). Grace in the form of strength and renewal was shown to the prophet Elijah after he doubted God (1 Kings 19). Moved by the desperate prayer of the abominable King Manasseh of Judah, God graciously restored Manasseh to his kingdom (2 Chronicles 33). And God’s grace was lavished on Peter when he received a second chance after denying Jesus (John 21)
By His immeasurable grace, God ambushed Saul, the zealot committed to wiping out the church, and transformed him into Paul, the missionary with a heart as big as the world and a desire to see local churches spring up to the ends of the earth (Acts 9). Paul never quite got over God’s grace. In fact, he was so odd that God would forgive him, the worst of sinners (1 Timothy 1:15), and also use him, he even started 10 of his 13 New Testament letters with the words grace to you from God. Because God is essentially gracious and because He never changes, guess what? He’s gracious to us too. He does not treat us as our sins deserve. The Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore, he will rise to show you compassion (Isaiah 30:18) if you think you’ve sinned terribly, or that you failed to adequately appreciate God’s blessings, you’re right, of course. The good news is that God is forgiving, patient, and kind. Grace is not only God’s nature but His name.
QUESTION: How has God shown you grace in your life beyond what you deserve?
“The Lord is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion.” (Psalm 116:5)

*PRAYER IN THE STATE CAPITOL MARCH 9TH 12 NOON – 2 PM – ROOM 426
The second Thursday of each month we would be praying inside the state capitol building in Lansing. The Michigan House of Prayer will be leading in room 426. The meeting is from 12 Noon-2 PM. We will be setting up at 11:30 AM. We will be praying for righteousness to return to our state. Praying for any sick legislators, staff members, or personnel will also be part of our efforts. Of course, any crisis situations that will have risen on a state or national level will be covered. We will be praying over legislators to make wise and godly decisions. Praise and worship will be part of the format of our gatherings. We all know that God inhabits our praises! This is a sacrifice of our time and resources, but Michigan hangs in the balance! We are believing for signs, miracles, and wonders to break out. This type of outbreak will get our legislators attention in the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ will go forth.

| In 2004, Chuck Pierce and Dutch Sheets came to Michigan and released the word that Michigan is The Voice to the nation. What does that mean? It means that we are forerunners. John the Baptist was the VOICE! We are a corporate John the Baptist who must cry in the middle of the wilderness, prepare the Way of the Lord. It means that we must speak out and model to the nation what God is about to do. We have entered a now time. Prepare the Way! We are entering the time of greatest revival and awakening man has experienced. The winds have started to blow over Michigan and they are about to hit hurricane force. Several prophets have recently released words that this is Detroit and Michigan’s time. Gina Gholston released a powerful prophetic word over Michigan in October 2022. Many people thought it was related to the election. However, it’s a much bigger word than that. I believe that we have entered our kairos opportune moment where we must activate the words. Two weeks ago, we counseled together over Michigan, and both agreed that we must now begin to stir up the prophetic words over Michigan, call them into being. In other words, we must gather the state and corporately release our voice, stirring up what God is saying. We set March 10th, 7 PM as the night we would gather. I started calling leaders in different areas of the state, including the Upper Peninsula. In two days at least 10 agreed to come and speak in Michigan. I knew there must be a cross-section of Michigan leaders including Black, White, Hispanic, First Nations, City, Rural, Male, Female and Multi-generational. All of them are leaders of churches or hubs, big churches, small churches. Some of those who have said I’m coming are: Apostles/Prophets Renee Growchowski, Jonathan Russo, Ed Watts, Keith Hudson, Joe Wenturine, Victor Torres, Asia Mchaney, Matt Jones, Bishop Andrew Merritt—father to Detroit, and several more. Chuck Pierce will be releasing a word to Michigan via video. Ed Watts and I are hosting this one night gathering in Ann Arbor, MI, March 10th, 2023, at Shekinah Christian Church, 4600 Scio Church Rd, 48103. Join us to corporately worship and release the Voice.
