Tonight’s Call – UNDERSTANDING THE PROPHETIC!
A prophecy is a prediction of something that will happen in the future. God is the author of prophecy in the Bible. Biblical prophets were individuals chosen by God to reveal the messages He gave them. The Bible teaches that a prophet is a speaker of or for God. His words are not the production of his own spirit but come from a higher source. For he is at the same time, also, a seer, who sees things that do not lie in the domain of natural sight, or who hears things which human ears do not ordinarily receive.
“I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure.” (Isaiah 46:9-10)
God is communicating with us through the voice of the prophets. We must understand the prophetic along with timing. We have repeatedly said many have a mindset when a prophetic word is given it must happen immediately. There were over 300 prophecies in the Old Testament given regarding the coming of Christ. Most were fulfilled hundreds of years later. When we see prophetic words that are released today there will be times of quick fulfillment. Most of the time though it can take months, years, and decades for them to come into fruition. We are in an accelerated season of time where many are receiving visions, dreams, visitations, and downloads of revelation. The curtain is being pulled back where we can clearly see what God is calling His Ecclesia to do.

The true and faithful prophets of the Bible wrote as they were inspired to do so by God. It is not to be from the writer’s personal ideas, but rather by God’s direct inspiration. On our nightly call we play clips from those we trust and believe to be modern-day prophets. The prophetic gift has not been done away with as some believe. The prophetic words that are being released today gives us confidence that God is real and that He will fulfill what He has said about the future. Since prophecies of world ruling empires and even the name of a specific ruler long before his birth have all come to pass, we know the rest of the Bible’s prophecies will likewise come to pass.
The Lord is giving us an unraveling of the present day critical season of time we are in. Prophecy motivates us to have a proper fear of God, which includes faith in God and obedience to His laws. Since so many judgments are coming upon people’s and nations because of disobedience to God’s law, we realize a commandment keeping is an important part of our relationship with our Creator. Even the warnings that are given through prophetic voices is an act of love. The coming shakings that are predicted is for our good not to harm us but instead be prepared. The best preparation is to stay close to the Lord and seek His presence.
Prophetic voices are telling us not to fear what is ahead. What is manifesting is of Biblical proportions where history will be reset and changed. We all are being invited to be part of that process. The “Call to the Wall” and “Command the Foreward” initiatives have been brought forth so we can walk in lockstep with God’s plans. Many are responding as our appeals to heaven are being heard as we declare and decree the words our nation was founded on. The prophetic voice utilized by the Lord is nudging us on as encouragement that He has chosen us to partner with Him to shift history. Again, the challenge is will you do your part?
