Looking at the Middle East, the riots in England and the increasing flash mob brutality in our cities in America we must see that something is unfolding that could be of serious unprecedented proportions. Police forces and fire departments in Michigan are feeling a looming and threatening under current that is brewing in our cities. Economies and governments are shaking. Politicians have no answers. A class warfare stage has been set where there is no plum line or standard to abide by.
A lack of a Biblical Worldview has produced a fruit that is poisoning society before our very eyes.
We could see riots in American cities soon. A fear is setting in as well as a feeling that the world as we see it is dramatically headed for some type of calamity. Some are becoming fearful feeling a sense of hopelessness, while others are ignoring the problem by believing it does not exist. Many turn to forms of destructive diversions and choose not to deal with it and become part of the problem. So is there a remedy?
The Holy prescription is fasting and prayer.
We need the prayer movement to rise up across America. A radical remnant is taking its place and seeking God in personal and corporate prayer. I see this in Michigan and I believe our state has been chosen to be a model for the nation. TheCall coming to Detroit on 11.11.11 (24 hour national stadium prayer gathering) is an example of God’s grace opening up a window of opportunity. 11.11.11 will open up the heavens and the Lion of Judah will roar. The remedy to the lawlessness and shakings is Divine intervention into man’s affairs. God will give those who truly seek Him a peace that will take us through the most difficult times. We serve a God of hope – will you respond to His call?
