Pursue peace with all men, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.
Hebrews 12:14 But He who has called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be ye holy as I am holy.”
Father, we thank you for grace in this process of sanctification. We confess that we walk mostly in the flesh and our thought life runs away with us. Help us to come into a fuller maturity in this time of prayer and fasting. We pray as Paul prayed for the Thessalonians that You will establish our “hearts blameless in holiness.”
We declare that we will take our thought life captive and bring those thoughts to you. We cry as David did “create in us a pure heart.” Thank you for the blood of Christ to wash and make us clean today. Thank you that the Holy Spirit dwells in us and gives us power to overcome. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen
