JERICHO MARCH LANSING 12/12 FROM 12 Noon – 2 PM

Every Battle Ground State will be conducting a Jericho March. Transformation MI was given the responsibility to rally Michigan this coming Saturday rain, snow or shine.

“Our prayer army is bringing our case before the Courts of Heaven, the Supreme Court, and the court of public opinion seeking truth and justice in this election.  The blatant fraud and corruption in this election is overwhelming and it cries out to God for justice.  We the People demand answers and accountability.  We serve a mighty God who can restore truth and justice in our land.”

What an amazing day we had. Check out the slide show pictures!

We will be meeting on the Lansing Capital Steps – if you have any questions please contact Rick Warzywak

WHAT IS A JERICHO MARCH?

A Jericho March is what some may refer to as a prayer walk by a group or congregation. The purpose is to pray for or against something and ask God to intercede, protect, or change something. For instance, many Jericho Marches have been prayed throughout the United States against abortion or against gang activity in a declining neighborhood. Other Jericho Marches have occurred to ask God’s protection over our leaders or cities or for revival to come. Still others have taken place around church buildings, asking for protection, blessing, or against worldly influences that attract our teens, or for almost any specific purpose. It is a test of faith, trust in God to move, and a test of obedience. These marches are patterned after the march on Jericho by Joshua as instructed by the Lord.

Jericho March – Joshua 6

In the book of Joshua chapter 6, we are told of the first “Jericho March.” According to the Bible, the Israelites were led by Joshua into the land God promised them. They crossed the Jordan River and were instructed to conquer the land called Canaan. Jericho was the first city to be taken for the Lord. It was a city of false gods. Joshua was instructed to silently march around the walled city once a day for six days straight.

Then on the seventh day the Israelites marched around the city seven times with seven priests, placed ahead of the Ark of the Covenant, carrying seven shofars or ram’s horns. As they marched, the priests were to blow the shofars. On the seventh trip around, they were to give one long blast in unison. Upon hearing that long blast, the people were to give a great shout. When they did this, the fortress walls of Jericho fell flat to the ground allowing the Israelites entry to take the city. It must have seemed strange to the Israelites to enter battle by way of a peaceful march.

The residents inside Jericho were also surely puzzled by the six days of quiet marches around their city. But on that seventh day, they certainly believed their gods would protect them. However, once again the one true God proved He is mightier than all other false gods.

This Jericho March was the instruction given by God; it was His plan and they succeeded. We may not always see God’s logic, but He is faithful when we are obedient to His Word. If a church is petitioning the Lord for a revival or a new pastor, be sure, the Lord will provide. The Lord may call you to Jericho March on behalf of taking back your city from sinful corruption or for divine guidance for your leaders. Have faith that the Lord hears every prayer because He may again call on us to bring down some walls to restore His Kingdom.

  1. I’m going alone from the Traverse City area. Anyone else going? I can give rides or would go with someone else too.

  2. I believe God’s got this, and pray that His will will be done.
Christians should not be timid or act like cowards when it comes to standing up for what is right, (the righteousness of God, working through us, as a witness to the lost, and an encouragement to those that question that God is able, and willing to help His people.
God, sent us His only Begotten Son, The Christ, Jesus, for a reason, because He loves us.
God knows that without His wisdom, leading and guidance, (which is provided to us by The Holy Ghost, the third member of The Trinity, we’d have no hope.
It’s important not only to pray, but to trust and believe in God’s power and His Majesty. He reigns over us, and He alone is worthy of all glor, honor, and praise, because He, and only He, is Good. He’s Faithful and Just.
He’s asked us to confess our sins, turn from our wicked ways, seek His face and pray. He will heal our land, and deliver us form the evil wiles of satan, who roams the earth, seeking to steal, kill and destroy, which is only possible if we surrender ourselves to him, instead of The One and Only True God, The Creator of the Universe, and all things thereon.
I look forward to seeing and reaping the Victories, as we ask and allow God to fight the battles we face.
Glory to God; Hallowed be His Name.
Jesus is The Way, The Truth and The Life; No one comes to The Father, (God), except through Christ.
I see you in Lansing, MI tomorrow.
Thank you for the privilege and honor to be able to walk in unity with fellow believers.

  3. Thank you for demonstrating trust in God through the visible act of a Jericho March…We believe for God to bring His justice to this election and show His glory and His goodness in helping His people when they call out to Him.
