Ephesians 4:11-13
In Ephesians 4:11 Greek word “poimen” – literally or figuratively, to shepherd or pastor. Pastors are men and women chosen by the Lord as gift to the church. They are called to lead their people by setting the example in following the life and teaching of Jesus, our Good shepherd, Our pastors carry a lot of responsibility and authority in our cities; In these days God is using the Pastors to open doors that have been racially shut in the church and in the city and government for decades. They are building bridges of unity and in an unprecedented way, Working together for the cause of the harvest. Lets Thank God for our Pastors!
Prayer:Heavenly Father, we lift up our pastors in the state of Michigan. We ask you to strengthen them with power by your Holy Spirit in their inner being that they would know you better. Draw them by your Spirit Lord, that they would seek your face and receive your wisdom love and character into their lives. We ask for open heavens and revelation of your word to be released to them in their prayer times,
We ask for healthy marriages, healthy spirits, minds and bodies. Set them free from racism, denominationalism, prejudice, jealousy and divisions of other pastors or churches. We pray they will stand in confidence in their vocation, free to do your will, I pray they will serve you with Joy in this time of History, Lord, we ask you to continue to unite the pastors in this region. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen
